I preached the gospel to 2 Jehovah’s Witnesses today, and we were going back and forth on Jesus being God, but they just kept pointing back to the website. What should I do in a situation like that again?
Their ideology is completely flawed. Heretical to its core. They will say that their Christians, I usually don’t bother talking to them until I’m done talking to individuals who are more receptive to the gospel. There’s quite a bit of apologetics to learn when dealing with them to be able to refute their ideas about Jesus and God. They’ve actually changed the Bible in John chapter 1. If I were you, I would do some studying before you went back and start loving them by bringing them water maybe even some snacks from time to time. Forming a relationship. While you’re still learning and equipping yourself to go deeply theologically with you. They will often take lots of time and you need to discern between the spirit of distraction and ready and willing ground. Pray and fast before your next conversation with them and do some studying. I’m glad that you are stepping out! I’m praying for you as we speak
The first page of my website is dedicated to Evangelism testimonies, whether it’s a salvation, a healing, or just encouragement. It could even be a place to share when things didn’t go the way you wanted them to! Share your testimony and let’s cover this globe in red! Every PIN represents one interaction with the blood of Jesus! www.reelevangelism.com
New member here. But just sharing that we've gone out to the World Cup in Dallas twice now to the fan fest. We've been praying over countless people and sharing the gospel. Such an incredible opportunity to have the nations coming to your hometown and being able to share the love of Jesus with everyone. I've even been able to connect people that we've talked to on the streets to local churches for further discipleship. Thank you Jesus!
Went to Medipark today and got the opportunity to share the gospel with three young men. Two of them said they knew Jesus as their savior, but one of them did not know if he had salvation. Shared the gospel with him and afterwards he wanted to pray. When we prayed all of us held hands and all three of them prayed out loud. Afterwards they thanked me for sharing. A special moment.
