Tip of the Day - Day 4
Happy Hump Day wrappers! I can't believe tomorrow marks the 6-month countdown until Christmas... affectionately referred to as "our Super Bowl season" by the gift wrapping community. Believe it or not, Christmas on social media starts next week with "Christmas in July" content, then takes a brief pause to acknowledge back to school. Come mid-August, however, a lot of people are jumping back into Christmas. I challenged myself to post every day starting September 16 in a fun 100 Day Countdown to Christmas series. It was a lot of work, but it proved very helpful to so many people who appreciated all the tutorials. When do you start thinking about the winter holidays? Pro Tip of the Day - Save ALL of your paper scraps. They can be used in many different ways, like to create gift tags and paper bows. My favorite is to piece different paper together to create unexpected but beautiful wraps. You'd be surprised at how well completely different patterns go together by using a coordinated ribbon. Check out the videos below for some of my most popular "Scrap Wraps"! https://www.instagram.com/reel/DXoy5_DkxCo/ https://www.instagram.com/reel/DSGOpseExvC/ https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVXjjO6Ed3Y/ https://www.instagram.com/reel/DVjUlOnE5Y4/

No way! It’s still “beach time,” way too early to be thinking of Christmas! Or is it...? 🤔

@Carrie Larson We had better get going then, don't want to miss out on all the good product!
Tip of the Day - Day 3
Hi Wrappers! Hope everyone had a great weekend. I'm SO HAPPY it's officially summer. I truly thrive in the sunshine. Anywhere 'beachfront' is my happy place, and summer is the time of year I simultaneously feel most productive and relaxed... probably because of the long days. I also love all things nautical, especially giftwrap. I pulled together some fun wraps for Father's Day yesterday. Check out the link below. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DZ2q5t1zb-7/ Pro Tip: One of my favorite ways to embellish a gift is with ornaments. Why? They are usually the perfect size to top a gift, you can almost always find one that is themed to your giftwrap, and it's a gift within the gift! Ornaments are valuable keepsakes for the gift recipient OR they are very easy to reuse on future gifts. If giving a themed gift, it's always fun to incorporate that them into the wrap!

Amazing but how does one find “embellishments?”

@Carrie Larson I like the sounds of "launching a fun product," I wonder what it will be... 🤔
Tip of the Day - Day 5
Hey Wrappers! Today is the official 6-month countdown to Christmas! I always say, it's never too early to sharpen your wrapping skills. Plus, we have wrapping needs all year long, so there's really no reason to wait. In the spirit of Christmas, however, I have a fun tip today. Wrapping Pro Tip: You do NOT need specialty Christmas paper to wrap Christmas gifts. I will die on this hill, but all you need is a supply of greenery and/or some jingle bells. If you add either one of those embellishments to ANY design wrapping paper, it instantly becomes a Christmas wrap. You can get jingle bells in all different sizes and styles at Dollar Tree or Amazon, and you can get greenery at Amazon... or purchase garland from Hobby Lobby or Michael's and cut individual stems. Bonus tip: ALWAYS have a spool of twine in your wrapping closet. You can use it instead of ribbon for literally any gifting need. https://www.instagram.com/reel/DCNZcIlS8iU/
