Drawing Exercise #3
This week’s exercise has a short video to guide you through some basics of drawing. Now we’re focusing more on application and technique. We’re doing this work to lay solid foundations to build our tattoo career on. Practice drawing as though you’re tattooing. Work with the technique and discipline you would with a tattoo. I’ve spoke before about art vs technique - mixing shadows and art with clean application and technique. The first 2 exercises on this template are the application and technique part. Then use the shapes to mix your application with knowledge of shadows to create some 3D and realistic shapes. Download the template below. As always, post your work for feedback. https://youtu.be/XnVFcRMR9Gw?si=OIu99Pp-eWlhgQVn

Drawing Exercise #2
This week, I’d like you guys to draw a rose. Copy my rose or draw your own. Last week we did basic shadows and shapes to understand shading and contrast better. Now let’s apply it to a rose to take things to the next step. If you havnt done last week’s exercise, take part and post your drawings for feedback. If you’re cutting out steps, I can’t be sure of your progress. No change in your routine means you make no change in results! Let’s go!!! 🚀📈

Practice Templates
With my course and templates like these, I teach you to tattoo through a clear step by step process that breaks down the techniques we need to make clean lines. I provide different templates and reference photos for you along the way. Download and stencil them as you follow along my courses. Use them to line, practice different styles of shading and packing black. Post your completed templates in the group for feedback so we can get you to the next level 🚀

Drawing Exercise #1
Check my last post. Base tones, high lights and shadows give us a formula to draw with instead of guessing and hoping. Study why shadows and highlights fall the way the do. Understanding patterns helps us recreate them. Post your completed templates for feedback. Download the stencil here or find them & more on my website TheBuzzAcademy.com

Another try
Why am I asking you to draw?
Check out this YouTube video below. I’ll talk you through my old drawings and what I’ve learned to make the drawings I do today. You don’t need to be good to start, but you need to start to be good. Some of the work I’ll ask you to do isn’t glamorous, but it’s necessary. The changes you can make in your work and career are crazy, you just need the right information and a lot of practice. I can only give you one. https://youtu.be/4pk8n5y5m38?si=qpB09OR1joE8Sq6_
