AI-DRIVEN
Having fun pre-dawn Monday morning. Midjourney for the image animation, Firefly for the SFX, Premiere for the overlay graphics, finish and soundtrack Original prompt; cool racing backgrounds with lots of dynamic action packed motion, simple explosive graphics

@Marshall Atkinson There's definitely some strangeness going on, but other than that, it was fast and fun. the rear tire tread doesn't spin or its going so fast it doesn't look like its spinning and some strange spoilers appeared on the left side in the front and rear. It was such a loose prompt, I was just looking for background stuff and I got this car. Then I decided to animate it and add some sound and overlay text. Generative AI audio is really a cool evolution as well. I wonder if Midjourney well delve into that or just stick with the images and animation

@Marshall Atkinson I'm working on a F1 Airplane racer next and I'm trying to make it a solid piece of work, but I don't think it'll stand as tall as the MX one either.
Family Vacation Design
I have some friends that are taking a vacation to Cancun. They're also a long time customer. They presented a design that they want for a t-shirt. It's the first picture. That to me is a terrible design! I came up with a few designs in MJ before she showed me that one. She didn't like any of them and said she wanted something colorful and more like the first one. I was able to get some pretty cool one's base off her sample design. I haven't showed them to her yet. They need a little more without overloading the design. Does anyone have any ideas how to juice it up a little? This is the prompt for the images with a surfboard: surfboard, bright sunshine, sand beach, palm trees, circular design, cartoon style, white background, distressed edges, "CANCUN" "MEXICO", --chaos 50 --stylize 150 This is the prompt for the last three images with the sunglasses: a pair of sunglasses with a colorful reflection of the sunrise at the beach with a gold frame sitting on a sombrero, tiki hut with palm trees and the ocean in the background, cartoon style, circular design, "CANCUN" "MEXICO", --chaos 30 --stylize 150 Thanks very much!!

@Marshall Atkinson or outline it in white. I would even consider creating a custom livery for it and illustrating it in color 🤔

Since you do DTF now, do you knock out the dark and prep the DTF in Photoshop? A new Photoshop script just came out that does a fantastic job of prepping DTF. It's $7 a month I believe. It just automats a manual process, but looks pretty slick.
Benefits Video Thumbnails
🎨 Last week I used MJ and PS to create 20 video thumbnails to use on a company's benefits website that launches soon (before their open enrollment). Last year I used 85% PS and 15% AI. This year, it was 90% AI to 10% PS. ⚡ The paradigm shift for me earlier last month is that I don't have to get everything captured by AI in a single image/prompt. That I can actually use the programs I know how to use to assemble the pieces and parts was so freeing to me. Now, I vibe much quicker. 🥕 Most people who saw all 20 had the most visible response to the carrot family which is quite interesting to me. Different people like different things. Who knew? 🗳️ What's your favorite?

@James Ballard I'm finding that combining a few generative AI apps has been helpful getting deliverables across the finish line. Lots of buzz about Google's Nano Banana so I might have to try it out and see what the fuss is about
UAW Labor Union Appreciation Month
So the client was given the second image that has Happy Labor Day on it by their client and then asked to modify it. Eliminate some items, add some items and rearrange others. So I used MJ to create the transmission in the upper left, the engine in the lower left and the casting pot in the upper right. I eliminated a few tools and rearranged others as necessary. For the transmission and engine, I could not get exactly what I wanted from a generation, so they are combinations of line art and watercolor generated images. I had to airbrush a little bit on the engine as I could not get it to quite match the photo reference they wanted me to use. I'm seeing more and more generative art from ChatGPT, Firefly, Midjourney, Leonardo AI, and others coming from folks that cannot get the final image they actually want. It helps to be comfortable with MidJourney and the other generative AI engines as well as have the digital painting skills to get the final product across the finish line. Digital artist not yet ready to be replaced. Finishing skills are still in demand 😉.....maybe even more now than ever before

@Marshall Atkinson yes, I definitely used the Omni reference.
Brain Cancer fund raiser shirt design
One of my screen print client's sister had a tumor removed from her brain, but only 80%. It's a lot of money, so they are doing fundraiser shirts. I'm not charging for the art, especially because they spend money with me a monthly basis consistently and I'm using Midjourney. After the client brief, I used the following prompt; "a trendy cutting edge design raising awareness and funds using white butterflies and the brain cancer ribbon for a female bartender named "Thirsty Kirstie" on a gray background" I know, I'm not using all of the prompting cues and language, but it worked. I'm still learning. I've given her two options. They are leaning to the option on the right. They just need to add the words they want. These are two separate generated images. I removed the text.
