Change of the exam style
Hey friends, I’ve been hearing that Technical Standards and Safety Authority (TSSA) might be switching from paper-and-pencil exams to computer-based testing. Does anyone have any confirmed updates on this? When is it supposed to start, and which class exams will be affected first? Would really appreciate any info!

4th exam question
Does anyone know if the 4th Class exam in SK is going to change soon? I’m currently working on my 4th and saw a post on Facebook suggesting the written exam might be changing. Just wondering if anyone has heard anything about this. Thanks

Hello Jeremiah, The 4th class exams have been standardized as multiple choice exams for quite some time now. Both 4A and 4B TSASK exams will definitely be Multiple Choice. New Company taking over for Pan Global?
Any recent updates regarding replacement text books now that Pan Global isnt selling them? This maybe has been discussed on a previous post? I am curious if any new ones are being made by a different company? Ill be starting my 2nd class end of April and will be needing books. Im sure its easy enough to track down some used Pan Global ones with a bit of effort but im wondering about brand new non Pan Global texts. Cheers!

Great question @Adam George, The group behind PanGlobal (NAIT, SAIT and BCIT) have taken over the content and are reviewing it for copy write material before releasing all textbooks to the public for free. 4th and 3rd class will be released by the end of April. 2nd class part A will be reviewed next with part B to follow, along with 5th class content. I do not have dates for the release of the 2nd class material, but I assume it'll be within the summer months of 2026 or sooner.
