🚀 Why NMN Capsules & or Powder could be a Smart Starting Choice Over NAD+ Injections
When you first dive into the world of anti-aging, you will constantly run into a heated debate: NMN Powder versus. NAD+ Injections Both methods successfully bypass the gut to deliver incredible cellular energy. However, unless you love needles and have a massive budget, oral NMN powder is the undisputed champion for everyday folks looking to boost energy, protect their DNA, and slow down aging at home. Here is the simple, "non-biology-major" breakdown of why NMN powder has become my go to for everyday use. 🏠 The Slow-And-Steady Delivery vs. The System Shock To understand why NMN powder is often better for daily life, think of your cells as a network of local factories that need fuel. · NAD+ Injections work like a massive firefighting helicopter dropping an overwhelming mountain of NAD+ directly into the system. Because sub-Q injections put active NAD+ straight into your fatty tissue, your body gets flooded all at once. This creates an immediate "metabolic rush." This rush frequently triggers temporary nausea, an uncomfortable feeling of chest tightness, or a racing heart. For everyday folks—and especially seniors—this physical stress is rarely necessary or pleasant. · NMN Powder works like a smooth, automated conveyor belt. NMN is a tiny building block that your cells naturally use to manufacture their own NAD+. When you let pure NMN powder dissolve under your tongue, it absorbs directly into your bloodstream with zero needles. Your cells take in the NMN and build the NAD+ internally at their own comfortable speed. It creates a smooth, gentle, and natural increase in daily stamina and mental clarity without any physical panic or side effects. While NAD+ injections are incredibly powerful, they come with significant real-world friction that makes them hard to maintain long-term. The hurdle here isn't the needle—it is the biological requirement of strict cycling versus. sustainable daily maintenance 🔄 The Cycling Trap vs. Daily Maintenance (The Real Friction)

Thanks for this! Definitely will look into it.
🧬 PEPTIDE SPOTLIGHT | LL-37
Your Body Already Makes This One What Is LL-37? LL-37 is the only member of the cathelicidin peptide family identified in humans. It consists of 37 amino acids and is naturally produced by the body as part of our innate immune defense system — essentially one of the body's first lines of defense when something potentially harmful shows up. But LL-37 is more interesting than simply being an antimicrobial peptide. Research suggests it also plays roles in immune signaling, inflammation, biofilm activity, tissue repair and wound healing. ⚡ 3 Ways LL-37 Impacts the Body — According to Research 1. THE MEMBRANE DISRUPTOR LL-37 can interact directly with microbial membranes. Because of its structure and positive charge, it can bind to certain negatively charged microbial surfaces, destabilizing their membranes and contributing to the destruction of the microorganism. Research has demonstrated activity involving bacteria, fungi and some viruses, although its effectiveness varies considerably depending on the organism and biological environment. 2. THE BIOFILM DISRUPTOR Some microorganisms don't just float around individually. They can organize themselves into biofilms — protective communities surrounded by a matrix that helps shield them from the immune system and can make them much harder to eliminate. LL-37 has been heavily researched for its ability to interfere with biofilm formation and disrupt biofilm behavior in certain experimental models. This is one of the reasons LL-37 gets so much attention in antimicrobial research. 3. THE TISSUE REPAIR CREW This is where LL-37 gets especially interesting. Its role doesn't stop with microbes. Research has associated LL-37 with: Cell migration • Epithelial repair • Angiogenesis • Wound healing • Tissue remodeling In other words, LL-37 appears to participate not only in defending damaged tissue but also in helping coordinate some of the processes involved in repairing it. 🧠 BUT THERE'S ANOTHER SIDE TO LL-37 LL-37 is sometimes casually described as an “immune booster.” A better description is immune modulator.

Heard of it but wasn’t familiar. Definitely want to try, I wonder if it would make a good scalp or skin serum for ppl with dandruff, dermatitis, eczema etc.?
🚨 RETATRUTIDE: LILLY JUST CHANGED THE TEMPERATURE
This one is worth paying attention to. Eli Lilly filed six lawsuits today targeting companies selling retatrutide in the United States. Retatrutide is still an investigational drug in Phase 3 clinical trials and is not currently FDA-approved for human use. But that isn't really the most interesting part of this story. Four of the companies Lilly is suing are peptide sellers marketing retatrutide as “Research Use Only.” The lawsuits include: • Astra Peptides • Legendary Peptides • Texas Peptides • Lone Star Peptide • Aesthetic Envy — a California med spa • Striker Pharmacy — a compounding pharmacy According to Lilly, some sellers are using a “Research Use Only” designation while actually marketing or supplying the product for human use. But Lilly is going much further than six lawsuits. The company is publicly calling on: Social-media platforms Payment processors Credit-card companies E-commerce platforms Shipping and logistics companies Regulators and law enforcement to help disrupt what Lilly calls the illegal retatrutide market. That is what caught my attention. This isn't simply Lilly sending cease-and-desist letters to a few websites. They are signaling an effort to attack the infrastructure that allows the market to operate. Why Retatrutide? Follow the economics. Retatrutide is one of Lilly's most important next-generation obesity drugs. Clinical development is well advanced, results have generated enormous interest, and Lilly has said it intends to seek regulatory approval beginning in early 2027. At the same time, an enormous unauthorized market already exists for the molecule before Lilly has sold a single approved prescription. So this shouldn't be surprising. But I also wouldn't dismiss it as pharmaceutical-company noise. Retatrutide has now become a sufficiently valuable commercial asset that Lilly is openly escalating enforcement against the market that developed around it before approval. And perhaps most importantly, they aren't only looking at manufacturers and sellers.

@Adam Serge ok! Right now I’m doing 10mg but I’ll take a 12mg if that’s what available because I’m sharing with the hubs so it’ll be fine.

Or even 15mg, we’ll figure it out.
Community Heads-Up — Please Report Unsolicited DMs
We had a bad apple in the community today who was privately contacting members through DM and attempting to solicit them outside of Dark Horse. That individual has been removed and banned. I want to ask everyone for a small favor: if you receive an unsolicited DM from another member offering products, directing you to another group/channel, promoting a vendor, or otherwise trying to solicit you privately, please let me know. You do not need to engage with them. A screenshot and the member name is all I need. Most people here are here for exactly the right reasons — to participate, learn, share information and help one another. Unfortunately, it only takes one person abusing that access to create a problem. If you see something that doesn't look right, please send it to me privately. It helps me act quickly and keep Dark Horse a community our members can trust. Thank you to the member who brought today's situation to my attention.
