My name is Johnny and my background is in engineering, but I found my way into home building in a bit of an unconventional manner. My wife and I wanted to escape the rent trap in Denver, so we navigated purchasing vacant land in Conifer CO and built an off grid tiny geodesic dome home to start, followed by a custom shipping container home that we now live in.
