Rejection-embarrassment-acceptance
Rejection is part of the job, and so is the embarrassment that comes with it. I remember cold calling from the bullpen, hang-up after hang-up, with colleagues right beside me. Some people asked why I even bothered, and why I kept getting embarrassed all day long. Their opinions weren’t paying my bills, though, and the embarrassment was exactly what kept me moving toward my goals. Even when no one was around, I felt embarrassed making awkward calls to people I knew to ask for business. It hurt, and it hurt every day. Here’s what I learned: if we want the goals we set, we have to get rejected and embarrassed again and again. Accept the sting, move on, and get back on the phone. Do that every day and we’ll make a lot of money. If we don’t, we won’t. Hope this pushes you forward today so you can go out there and produce at a high level. Attitude of gratitude draws in more of what you want
Take a step back and look at the opportunity we have as real estate salespeople: the ability to earn unlimited income. We are not capped, and we are not restricted. It is legal to sell a lot of real estate and make a lot of money. We forget that as we get into the weeds of deals, emotion, drama, stress, client problems, etc., and those are exactly the reason why we have this opportunity. Someone has to be the calm, capable person in the middle of it all, and that someone is you. Instead of focusing on problems in this business and what you don't like about it today, focus on gratitude and why you love this business. Get out there and help as many people as possible so you can take advantage of the unlimited income potential. #ListMoreCloseMore #RealEstate #RealEstateAgent #Gratitude #RealEstateLife

Can’t say the wrong things to the right people
If you have a lack of pipeline, talk to more people. If you have a lack of money, talk to more people. Working on your scripts and role-playing is a must, but if you don't go out and talk to people, none of that practice will matter. I didn't learn what to say first. I made the calls first. I didn't land my first expired listing until a year after I started calling expired listings, but I made the calls, knocked on the doors, and practiced my scripts every day. Year after year, my conversion rate improved. Often, though, it was because I was in the right place at the right time. Talking to so many people meant those moments happened anyway. If your script isn't great yet but you're talking to a motivated person who is looking for an agent, it's hard to mess that up. If your script is perfect but the person isn't looking to hire anyone right now, or isn't the right fit, no script will turn them into a client. So go out there and talk to enough people that you do business in spite of yourself. The extra mile
So many deals in the past looked like nothing was working, and I wanted to give up. Then I did one more thing, and that extra mile often made the difference between a deal and no deal. It’s also what makes you memorable to your clients and earns you endless referrals. Let this post be a reminder to always give things one more try. Make that small extra effort: ask for one more price adjustment, show one more property, write one more thank-you card, or make one more call. When you do this, you’ll have no regrets if things don’t go your way, because you’ve done everything possible. In my own experience, it wasn’t always the deal or client I lost that stayed with me. It was the regret of wondering whether I could have done something before giving up. Follow along as I share my real-life experiences and mistakes, so you can avoid the potholes in real estate and move faster in your career. #ListMoreCloseMore #RealEstate #RealEstateCoach #RealEstateAgent #ExtraMile

Focus on income producing activities 75%
A single thought like this helped me increase my efficiency and boost my production every year. The more I focused on income-producing activities each day, the more money I made, year after year. If you’re not delegating the tasks an assistant or AI can handle, you are the assistant. Once I hired out my admin in 2012, I went from 45 deals to 59 deals in one year. That’s not magic. It’s simply logic. Agents need to work on themselves and let go more. Most top producers are control freaks, and that’s exactly what holds them back from reaching the next level of production. Prospecting, lead follow-up, going on listing and buyer appointments, negotiating contracts, and working on price reductions are what we need to focus on as top-producing real estate salespeople. Everything else should be delegated. Follow along for more content like this to help you grow your real estate sales production.
