Greetings from Fort Lauderdale FL. I’m a tech entrepreneur currently involved in commercial drone development. I have been in IT and Telecommunications for a while. How long? COBOL years ago. My first public email account had 6 characters before @aol.com. I worked on UNIX before I used LINIX. I “coded” HTML stuff using VI. My first Internet access was using a 19,200 Baud Modem . Yes. We already had color TV. But, the Most important skill I have is…learning. I’m here to accelerate my learning about AI and OpenClaw development. I want my first project to be an AI agent for small business. To help companies manage simple, yet tedious and time consuming tasks such as reporting sales taxes to the state every month. I’m all about open source and collaboration. Let’s be friends and learn together.

Open claw fatigue
Is any body else here looking at options that are not open claw due to the hassle? And if so what are you liking instead?

I had 3 days of dead OC after an update (big mistake) I had to revert 2 versions after hrs of cleaning. The thing is back up. But, slow as molasses . It constantly times out the connection with my LLMs. I even switch back to google and noticed their logs are clean. Yet OC cant keep it together. I’m exhausted. A new Mac arrived yesterday and it will become Hermes home. Not OC. Sad.

RAG Technigue
so back at it again, using the RAG Technique, Retrieval Argumented Generation, and embedding a local model using the chunking technique so the model can be used off-line I cant wait until its done so I can show u guys its awesome I had agents look for hrs to see if this product I am building exist and so it does not we might have a winner guys

I'm thinking about doing RAG for my personal research data base. Would you recommend Pinecone or Milvus ? any other ? i like privacy. But, I really don't want to have to do deal too much with infrastructure issues
