Had a John Israel moment gratitude moment yesterday. Lost my wallet all day. Found it last night. (Not so bad except our family is going on a cruise Thursday ) remember the chicken story from the podcast.

We have a "shop" section of MrThankYou.com, and I "accidentally" found out that we had received 3 orders last month but we never got notice. It's not all rainbows and sunshine over here in Mr. Thank You land. We make mistakes. I believe @J Brad Britton taught me, "A customer service error is just an opportunity to make a customer for life." I sent each book or set of Thank you cards with a personal thank you/apology note and an extra copy of my book. Remember, "Results show skill, but how we handle problems shows character. Mistakes can be a tool for greater connection and trust.

Today I wrote my card to Donald the Mower guy. We live on 6 acres and mowing the yard is a multi day task. We bought a Kubota zero turn mower for a ridiculously cheap price from someone who was moving, and it has been nothing but trouble since we bought it. We were referred to a man who works on mowers in our small little town. He talks with such a southern drawl it’s hard to even understand sometimes. 😆 After a few weeks, he got it purring like a kitten, and he only charged us $160…this is cheap considering working on this mower is like working on a car. I wrote my card to him with his payment inside and will drop it off when we pick up the mower this evening.

Hello, I just started sending out a few cards, I haven't acquired the habit yet. But it has helped me shift my mind set a few times when defeating thoughts creep in. Looking for gratitude for all the good people in my life helps pick me up. Will we be starting a new challenge? I have a friend to invite so was wondering what I can tell them.
