I was very lucky today to find these young Wedge-Tailed Eagles!

I am having fun trying some new settings to capture some of the local birds. Australian King Parrot, Grey Shrike Thrush, Eastern Yellow Robin, Black-Shouldered Kite and Eastern Thornbill. I will be heading back to Pambula from Boxing Day for a couple of weeks. I will head to those beautiful places that you showed me Sonia. Unfortunately the Western Treatment Plant has been closed due to potential Bird Flu cases. Hoping you are heading down to the Peninsula sometime soon.

I was lucky enough to find the critically endangered Orange-Bellied Parrot and some other birds yesterday.

Visited my amazing friend @Peggy McDonald to take a few photos of her birds currently in care (she's a registered wildlife carer with a wealth of knowledge). Peggy gently performed a check on feather regrowth of wings and tail, injuries and keel bone condition. Just incredible to get up close to these beautiful birds, hopefully they'll all be ready for release soon 🙏
