The biggest content SECRET most agents still don’t understand
Most agents think the hard part is posting consistently. It’s not. The hard part is knowing how to make people care fast. That is the real game. We just had a video hit around 7 million views (All Platforms combined) built around this idea: https://www.instagram.com/reel/DWMumQ9PwdG/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA== “My mom’s turning 62. Should she get Social Security now or wait?” That worked for a reason. Not because it was fancy. Not because it had crazy editing. Not because it was some secret algorithm trick. It worked because it was packaged the right way. Here’s what made it strong: 1. It starts with a real question people instantly understand. “My mom is turning 62. Should she take Social Security now or wait?” That is simple. Clear. Personal. And it creates immediate tension. A lot of content dies because the topic is too broad. This one is specific from the first sentence. 2. It feels personal, not corporate. The “my mom” angle makes it human right away. That matters. People do not connect to “today we’re discussing Social Security timing strategies.” They connect to real-life decisions that feel like they could happen in their own family. 3. It creates conflict fast. Take it now? Wait until 67? Wait until 70? That is a built-in debate. Good content usually has tension baked into it. If there is no tension, there is usually no reason to keep watching. 4. It uses math as the payoff. The hook gets attention. The math keeps people there. That is a powerful combo. The viewer is not just getting an opinion. They are getting a breakdown they can follow. 5. It challenges what people assume is the “smart” answer. Most people think waiting must be better because the monthly check is bigger. But the video flips that assumption and says, maybe not. That is huge. A lot of strong content works because it takes a common belief and puts pressure on it.

How to Create One Video and Turn It Into 5 Pieces of Content
One of the easiest ways to burn out on content is thinking every post has to start from scratch. It doesn’t. One good video can turn into multiple pieces of content if you use it right. A single reel can become: a caption post, a story topic, a text follow-up idea, a short email idea, and another video with a different hook. That is how content starts getting easier. The agents who post more consistently usually are not creating more from scratch. They are just repurposing better. If you already took the time to say something useful once, there is usually more than one way to use it. Are you currently repurposing your content, or are you reinventing the wheel every time?

Why clarity beats charisma in real estate content
A lot of agents think they need to be more charismatic on camera. Most of the time, they just need to be clearer. The agents who win with content are not always the funniest, loudest, or most polished. They are usually the ones who explain things in a way that people immediately understand. Clear beats clever. If people understand you, they trust you faster. And when they trust you faster, conversations get easier. That is why clarity matters so much in content. It shortens the distance between attention and trust. Do you think your content is clear enough right now, or are you trying too hard to make it sound polished?

Which platform is giving you the best results right now?
Quick pulse check for the group. Which platform is actually giving you the best results right now? Instagram? TikTok? Facebook? YouTube? LinkedIn? And when I say results, I do not just mean views. I mean actual traction. Conversations. Leads. Reach. Followers who seem relevant. Real business movement. A lot of agents are posting everywhere but not really paying attention to where the momentum is. Drop the platform that’s working best for you right now, and if you want, say why.

Why Most Realtor Content Sounds Generic
Most realtor content sounds generic because it could’ve been posted by almost anybody. That’s usually the issue. It’s not always bad content. It’s just safe, broad, and forgettable. A lot of agents are posting things like “Thinking about buying or selling? Let’s connect” or “The market is always changing” and while that’s technically fine, it gives people no real reason to remember you. The best content usually has one thing generic content does not: a clear point of view. Instead of saying something broad like “Now is a good time to buy,” say something more specific like, “If you’re waiting for the perfect rate before buying, you might be focused on the wrong thing.” That feels more real. More direct. More memorable. A good test before posting is this: if another realtor in any city could post the exact same thing, it probably needs a stronger angle. Do you think most generic content comes from weak hooks, no real opinion, or trying too hard to sound polished?

I appreciate you being honest @Cathy Northern. When it comes to creating the hooks and even the content itself, you need to do some R&D which means research and duplicate. You don't want to copy word for word, you of course want to make something in your style and delivery. In the member resource vault we have the top 20 hooks we use that work time and time again, you just adapt the topic to it. You can have audible hooks in terms of what you are saying and or visual hooks to quickly grab someone's attention visually. In terms of what to post, we can work with creating a system for you to identify the top/trending topics and replicate in your voice. It's honestly how we do it on our end. Let me know if you want a quick one on one call and we can go more in depth, just here to help!
