Reza Pahlavi visits Swedish Parliament.
So Reza Pahlavi is visiting Sweden next Monday where he will be presenting a speech. Now some of you have spoken some concerns about the security situation in the Swedish Parliament. I found a video where you can get to go through all the different steps when you’re going to visit the parliament of Sweden. The video is in Swedish, but we are a few people that can translate in the group so just comment, and we will help you out.

@Blake Winter This is a bit outside the scope of the forum, but it’s a very interesting subject. Vasa sank in 1628, and Isaac Newton didn’t publish Principia until 1687, about 60 years later. At the time, they simply didn’t have the scientific understanding needed to analyze stability properly, such as the relationship between center of gravity and buoyancy, or concepts like metacentric height. Shipbuilding was largely based on experience, previous designs, and rules of thumb. While it is true that the king wanted a powerful and intimidating flagship, urgently needed for the ongoing Thirty Years' War, there’s no clear evidence that he suddenly forced through a second gun deck against the builders’ judgment. However, the overall push for heavier armament likely contributed to the ship becoming too top-heavy. Yes stability tests were carried out before launch, and they showed that the ship was dangerously unstable. but no one stopped the launch. At that point, it would have required a major decision, essentially rebuilding the ship, and no individual seems to have had both the authority and responsibility to make that call. The ship sank quickly after setting sail, but one reason it’s so famous today is how well preserved it is. The Baltic Sea’s low salinity prevents shipworms from surviving, which is why the wreck remained largely intact. Seeing it today is quite remarkable. EDIT: Even after Newton, naval stability theory (metacentric height) wasn’t developed until the 1700s, I read right now.

@Nicole Grant That's awesome :D Welcome!
Deal with the Devil!
I hate being the guy saying "I told you so", but I knew Trump's strategy of "Hurt the civilians hoping the terrorists will make a deal" won't work on these demons running Iran, but people called me a regime supporter? It seems to me like the biggest supporter of this regime is Donald Trump. He's constantly praising them and now he's accepted a ceasefire on their terms. Ensuring their survival. Not that he ever intended to help us overthrow them anyways. He said he didn't wnat regime change, but had acheived it because he's such and overachiever. He's such an over achiever that he surrenders to terrorists...I'd say I'm disappointed if I hadn't seen this coming from a mile away. Let's see how many Iranians wanna thank him now!

@Farbod Babaeipirouz The fact that so many believe that Trump's been looking for a quick off-ramp and that he would even consider settle with a deal with ANY of those points just shows what a trickster he can be. There will certainly be a next phase but I disagree with Jeffrey on what it will look like. I don't believe there will be any arming of Iranians. I'm absolutely certain (as certain as one can be) that US will start strikes again and it's not even going to take two weeks. Just a little bit more patience and some faith to that - and be prepared for a really f-ing good show!
I’m disgusted by this ceasefire
It’s utterly killing me to know trump has capitulated to this regime. The 10 point plan they handed to him was an absolute joke and if we even acknowledge any of these points, it’s a win for the regime. And to top it off watching IRGC families and people celebrating it as they won the war and to hear IRIB news breakdown on tv saying they are now considered the “new superpower “ is disgusting and infuriating me.

@Amber Mack The straits doesn't seem open by a long shot. Vessels still lay anchored.

@David Jafari Trumps signals in a way the islamists can understand. If he would sound diplomatic and listen with UN or Nato, taking it slow (like politicians usually do) the islamists would see that as weakness and laugh at him. By telling them straight out that they will be in hell and signaling that he doesn't care whatsoever what Nato, UN, EU, or any other party thinks, and a top that hijacking Allah, that makes them offended and scared. Trump is good at not showing his hand. He just got rid of the human shields they put up. Soon they gonna come out from their holes to have a meeting somewhere. Meanwhile US restocks all ships and planes (They used about a thousand 2000lbs bombs during the mission rescue). Please don't lose hope! Trump will NOT abandon the Iranians. EDIT: I want to add that he is most likely fully aware of that people are horrified and that his opponents are laughing and celebrating. It doesn't bother him. He knows he will have the final laugh!
Jonathan Conricus, Swedish interview!
Holy Crap!!! I had no idea Jonathan Conricus was from Sweden (born in Jerusalem but raised in Sweden for 13 years)! I saw this interview by a Swedish channel and was wondering if Jonathan would be on, and sure enough, even speaking Swedish with my own accent! I've watched him so many times the recent years and I didn't have a clue! YT: https://youtu.be/7l21AihEXm0?si=HdnSTYU4wJSPeexr Sorry for posting a Swedish link, but I had to! I'm so proud of him being from Sweden :D
