Building something different with AI 🤖: Inventory Tracker
Instead of another AI chatbot or automation, I'm building a Robotics Inventory Tracker for our school's robotics club. The goal is simple: 📦 Track robotics kits with QR codes 🔍 Instantly view every component in a kit ✅ Mark kits as Complete or Ongoing ⚠️ Report missing parts in seconds 📊 Give officers a dashboard to monitor inventory What's been fun is using AI as a development partner instead of just a code generator. My workflow has been: - Claude for architecture and feature implementation - AI for UI/UX iteration and design feedback - Vibe coding the frontend while focusing on user experience - Rapid prototyping instead of spending hours planning every screen One thing I've realized is that good AI-assisted development isn't about writing prompts that generate an entire app—it's about continuously refining, testing, and improving each iteration. The screenshot below is the latest version of the dashboard. It's still a work in progress, but it's already a huge improvement over the first design. My next goals: - 📱 Polish the mobile experience - 🎥 Create a product demo video - 📈 Add analytics and inventory history - 🔔 Real-time notifications for missing parts - 🎨 More polished micro-interactions and animations Curious—what's everyone else building with AI right now? Any features you'd add to an inventory system like this?

@Sarah Williams I haven't landed my first paying client yet. That's currently the main focus
10 → 25 LinkedIn Connections in 24 Hours
Yesterday I launched the first prototype of my LinkedIn Content System. Within 24 hours: ✅ Connections grew from 10 to 25 ✅ No manual outreach ✅ Fully automated workflow It's still early, but the initial results are encouraging. If the trend continues, I'll break down exactly how the system works and what I've learned building it.

@Anurag Seth good question! The 1st branch is the automation for scheduling the post. The 2nd branch is for approval purposes. The email contains the contents that will be posted through out the week and If I see something that I do not like or I have to change I can just click a button and edit it directly in buffer

@Anurag Seth I appreciate you for that one
A Calendly link is not a booking system.
It's just a place where no-shows happen. Most agencies spend thousands generating leads... Then lose 30–40% of booked calls because nobody follows up after the booking. A proper booking sequence should: ✅ Send an instant confirmation ✅ Deliver 2 credibility-building emails before the call ✅ Send reminders:• Morning of the call• 3 hours before• 1 hour before• 5 minutes before Every touchpoint increases show-up rates and gives prospects more confidence before they jump on the call. The difference between a mediocre pipeline and a predictable one is often what happens AFTER the booking. If you're losing booked calls to ghosts, fix the system—not the lead source.

The moment a lead fills out a form, the clock starts ticking.
Most businesses think they're generating leads. What they're actually generating is delay. No instant confirmation. No nurture sequence. No lead scoring. No alert for hot prospects. Just a form submission sitting in an inbox waiting for someone to notice it. By the time they respond, the lead has already spoken to a competitor. This is exactly why businesses lose deals they should have won. The businesses growing fastest aren't generating more leads. They're responding faster than everyone else.
