Chem Data Test #1 Now Available (Attached Doc)
We’ve added a new Chemistry data set to Project 99.95, designed to closely mirror the style and thinking demands of a QCAA Chemistry data test. What This Data Set Trains - Interpreting unfamiliar data - Identifying relevant information - Applying core chemical principles The Standard: 10/10 Data tests are not memory tests. They are open-book in disguise. Everything you need is on the page: - All data is provided - All relationships are visible - Marks are awarded for logic and interpretation, not recall Which means there is no excuse not to be aiming for 10/10. Students who drop marks in data tests usually aren’t lacking knowledge — they’re: - Rushing - Misreading data - Guessing instead of justifying These are trainable errors. How to Use This Properly 1. Attempt it cold, under time pressure (15-20 min) 2. Justify every decision using the data 3. Review where reasoning broke down 4. Drop ur answers below to confirm your marks More to come — Project 99.95 Team

1. Kc= [NH3]^2 divide [N2]x[H2]^3 2. KC avg=115.9108 3. LCP states that the system will oppose the change (i.e. increase in [H2]), therefore it will try decrease the concentration of H2. This means the forward reaction will be favoured and hence will increase the yield of ammonia, suggesting that the student's claim is true. (idk hopefully that explanation is good cuz i think equilibrium law is the same as Le Chatelier principle??) 4. Increasing the temperature in the Haber process shifts the equilibrium position left, hence favouring the reverse. This shift occurs because the system moves in the endothermic direction to absorb the added thermal energy, which results in a lower yield of ammonia.

Merry Xmas Everyone - Anyone wished for a UCAT Mock?
Merry Christmas everyone. Hope today’s been filled with good food, good company, and a proper switch-off from school for a bit. You’ve all put in a solid year — this week is about recharging, not grinding. Rest counts too. We’ll be back soon with more resources, sessions, and plans for 2026. Have a great Christmas 🎄— Project 99.95
