Hi there. I'm Joel from Nashville TN. I've began with in a casual relationship with AI about 2 years ago, and in early 2024, decided I was going to pivot in my career in Electronic Media Production and Broadcast Engineering to focus more on back-end development and automation. I've learned so much and gotten pretty handy with my Git and my IDE, but I've still got a lot to refine before I qualify as anything more than an enthusiast I'm afraid. I'm building, (and then re-building, usually) as much as my schedule allows, and look forward to mastering the skills that will one day provide me with the means to actualize the "Big Ideas" that motivate me to keep chugging along. Thanks to my decades of experience in the world of Video, my primary interests seem to focus on Computer Vision and Deep Learning... so I'm trying to get cozy with Python and the Gang. I want to Master all the things and appreciate that it's a long journey up many mountains... One foot in front of the other, as they say... This is the 4th Skool community I've joined and I really dig this platform. I found this one through the YouTube Tutorial Tunnel thanks to my most impressive algorithm, without which, I might never truly feel heard or understood. I feel like I've found my compass, and after wandering around turning my map in different directions, believe I am on the cusp of discovering the path that will lead me to my treasure.
