A lot of you have mentioned that you want your footwork and body movement to look cleaner… so here’s a tip that will change everything: Your prep matters more than the actual movement. Most of the “messy” feeling doesn’t come from the spin, the basic, or the styling. it comes from the moment before you move. Before you do anything, ask yourself: where do I want to go with the movement? if you want to go down, the prep should be up, if you want to go right, the prep should be left etc. When your prep is clean, the movement becomes sharp, controlled, and effortless.
