When doing a JV deal is there something on the JV contract where the partner cannot pursue your cash buyer without you. If I bring the cash buyer to a deal you never knew about than should that JV partner be entitled to future deals if that cash buyer is involved? There is no way to keep away cash buyers info from a JV partner. I’m all for working with someone but not at my own detriment to further deals. Not trying to throw shade on JV but how does that all work?

If you get their name it’s not hard to find them especially if they sign the assignment contract in their business LLC. I was just wondering if anyone had this issue. I’m all for partnering up, but I don’t know the ethics of the JV partner. All I know is we both want the bag. I would never do that too somebody because we could do more in the future.

Tell them through relationships with people like you, realtors and research.

Maybe should put the assignment fee on the spreadsheet in case of JV opportunities.
