Grateful to Be Here: A Thought About “Waking Up” and Integration
Hey Brett and everyone here, really grateful to be part of this community. After reading Brett’s story, something hit me: a lot of us spend years searching in different directions, religion, science, business, self-destruction, self-creation, only to realize later that the real challenge isn’t discovering things… it’s integrating them. That “place to bring it all together” Brett talked about is something many people never find. So I wanted to open a simple question to whoever is here: 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗼𝘄𝗻 𝗷𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆? I’ll go first in the comments. Looking forward to building something meaningful here with you all.

@Brett Larsen Thanks Brett, I really appreciate the way you described that, especially the part about finding the same center through completely different paths I relate to that a lot. It feels like every tradition, every discipline, every story is pointing toward the same place… just using different symbols Letting go of needing a name for it is something I’m still leaning into too. Sometimes the label becomes the limitation, and the experience itself is so much bigger than any word we try to fit it into. What you said about translating your science view into someone else’s belief view really resonated. It’s a rare skill to bridge both worlds without forcing either one. Feels like that’s exactly where the real connection and understanding actually happen

@Brett Larsen Honestly, the one thing I’d change is how disconnected people are from themselves. So much pain, confusion, and conflict comes from people moving through life on autopilot, reacting instead of understanding. If more people could slow down, question their own patterns, and actually listen to themselves, the world would look very different. That shift alone would ripple into everything else
