Skooly by Joe Defilippo – Member Review
This is my community review of Skooly by Joe Defilippo. ā€œIt’s like skipping tech support and having an engineer as your bestie.ā€ I joined Skooly because Joe is my friend. He previously ran a community called Jester and it was just a fun place to be. But beyond that, Joe is a real software engineer in the real world, and he started building tools that the Skool platform didn’t have yet. At the time, analytics were limited. You could get members, but you didn’t really know where they were coming from. If you were posting on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Reddit, or relying on Skool discovery, you were guessing. Joe built a link shortener that let you actually track your traffic sources. Then affiliate links rolled out on Skool, and those links were long and clearly labeled as referral links. Joe solved that too by creating clean short links that masked the affiliate structure while still tracking data. It just made sense. If I’m going to hype a community I love, why wouldn’t I use a clean link and get paid for driving real members? The tools were practical from day one. As of right now, Joe has built 19 tools inside Skooly. Some are fun. Some are seriously powerful. A few I didn’t immediately understand… until I saw how other owners were using them and realized how valuable they were. His responsiveness is almost immediate. He’s present. If something breaks, or if I try to break something on purpose to test it, he’s on it. The support is bar none some of the best I’ve ever experienced. And it’s coming directly from the engineer. No layers. No ticket ping pong. That alone builds trust. What I love most is that members help drive development. If an owner has an idea that would save time or improve productivity, Joe listens. He’s constantly teasing the next tool that’s about to ship, and it makes you want to stay plugged in because there’s always something new coming. And yes… Joe is hilarious. What you need to know before joining Skooly is that Joe is hilarious. Don’t expect stiff corporate vibes. Expect personality.

BTS: Why I Built a GPT to Structure The Reviews
This community is public which means it is indexible by Google and it will be crawled by AI. Your reviews of communities will be findable. Not just by search engines and AI tools but by all of the people looking for what you describe as part of the experience inside a community here on Skool. That means your post has to have certain elements included. - SEO rich titles - optimized first 100 words (v2 of the GPT coming this weekend) - your experience speaks volumes about what is happening inside the community, why you chose to join, why you choose to stay and who this is for / not for The last element I need to mention clearly is an FTC compliant statement saying your hyperlinked text is an affiliate link that you could earn money if someone joins the community you recommended. Did you hear me?? AFFILIATE LINKS ARE WELCOME HERE! 😁 I'm not building this for right now or next month. I want this to be something that keeps growing and lasts. That means I have to safeguard certain aspects so it doesn't get shut down for non-compliance. The GPT was built to capture your EXACT words. It may clean up your rambling a tiny bit for flow but otherwise, it is what you said. I built in questions that AI will ask but you are free to say what you want in the review. If there is something specific you want to mention that doesn't land under the question... ramble on! Share away!! I wanted to share this clearly so you understand WHY there's a GPT built into this framing and so you'll jump in and use it. Got questions? Got feedback? I'd love to hear them. I'm open and have no ego attached to this because my goal in this community is to get eyes on really amazing communities here on this platform. Not just the ones making shit tons of money and winning the games. The small ones with really cool vibes. The big ones where you've learned a lot! The ones where you can earn affiliate commissions. My only ask is that you review and share authentically. Ready to review your favorites? Get to level 3 so you can post. If you need help leveling up, comment on this post and I'll help make it happen!!

This is a really good overview and I have a few thoughts about it. First of all, I believe that rambling is an art and a science. This one time in science class Ms. Burke got a phone call and answered the phone like this: "One-twenty-three BURKE WHAT DO YA WANT?". Me and my friends thought it was hilarious! One of the people in that group of friends actually went on to build on skool... it was me. Anyway, although I'm a rebel at heart, FTC compliance is a serious matter and I am glad it's being given the respect it deserves.

@Faith Adebayo 123 was the room number and she was about 123 years old and angry. We got to watch a lot of Bill Nye tho in there which was cool

The Main Branch by Devon Meadows – Member Review
This is my community review of The Main Branch by Devon Meadows. "Throughput increased by 60%." I joined The Main Branch because Devon, the owner, is an accomplished businessman. The community was originally the Ads Lab and was very successful on Skool. Devon has a background in software and is a deep systems thinker. Once I saw what he was building, I wanted in. The first time I used the system, it extracted everything about my business, asked really great questions, and saved the outputs directly on my filesystem. Every time I use it, it remembers past decisions. It basically knows everything it needs to know about my business and evolves over time. Using that knowledge base and the Main Branch system has been nothing short of extraordinary. It helps me generate organic content, create ad copy, scour the internet and my files to do incredible research, decide how to build features in my software, and save everything, so it always has the full context for every piece of work I undertake. And, none of my information is stored on their servers, so I maintain full ownership of everything and minimize risk - which really makes a lot of sense for both the Main Branch and its users. Prompting became easier. Throughput increased by 60%. The ultimate outcome was higher quality. I also don't have to think about social media posts or ad angles anymore, just editing and posting. I’m way more confident in how I approach decisions and content. People who are intimidated by tech might feel apprehensive at first. But there’s really not much to learn, and the team lays it out in a digestible way. The community is always helping each other out. There are live calls about 3–4 times per month. There’s no pressure to participate, but it’s encouraged. It’s definitely a learn by doing community. A Claude subscription is necessary to be able to use it. It's SO worth it, though. Join The Main Branch here — this is an affiliate link and I may earn a commission if you join.

@Faith Adebayo They're still tuning the image generation skill, so no, but soon they will be able to make some super badass stuff. It IS the reason I've been able to release new features quickly, though!
