@Jay Sigal thanks, i'll re-record for you. shoot. i keep having issues with this one (first time the internet went out). should have a replacement in an hour or so.
Here's something on my mind a lot recently, if someone was going to introduce you to lightroom classic all over again - from the beginning - what should be in that initial introduction? What are the most important topics, the ones that cannot wait? I always think proper importing should be among them (that's where a lot of issues come into play later). But what else?
@Jay Sigal Makes sense. When I first got into editing (geez, 20 years ago now??) PS was a very destructive software. The big changes in recent years have been the addition of new non-destructive processes to the workflow, which is usually a big changes for old school users.
Oh sure, I own my own company called The F Stops Here and I teach for 7or 8 different retailers around the country, mostly teaching LRC and PS. I also own a website called "My Lightroom is a Mess" where people book time with me to work on organizational and data mismanagement issues with their images. There are a LOT of messed up catalogs out there, let me tell you. I've been teaching photography for 20 years and I've been self employed for almost 5. I love that no 2 days are the same for me.
Hey friends, just making a post (that I can send out) and confirm we've added a hang out on Thursday evening . I know some folks couldn't make our one last week, and we have some new members, so I thought it'd be fun to plan an additional chat. Hope you can make it. It'll be recorded if not. Hope you have a great week.
