New Video - Will AI Search Kill This $100K/Month SEO Business?
In this video I interview Kyle the "Website Landlord," who runs a rank and rent local SEO business making around $100K/month renting lead flow to local service businesses. Kyle breaks down exactly how the model works, the SEO strategies behind it, and why he believes AI search is making his business stronger, not killing it. My rank and rent site is live. I'll report back whether it's ranking in a few weeks. On to the next shinny object slash rabbit hole! Anyone looked jnto the video ads people are creating with Google Flow? Looks pretty powerful.
First Client? What's the Play?
Hey! @Ryan Doser I'm currently offering a Done-For-You Patient Acquisition System for Dental Practices in the US, which includes AI automation, CRM setup, funnels, chatbots, lead nurturing, missed-call text back, appointment booking automation, and follow-up systems. My biggest challenge right now is closing my first US client. I understand the technical side of delivery, but I'm confused about the client acquisition side. I appericiate if you guys give me quick answers to these question: 1. If you were starting from zero today, how would you get your first 3 clients in the US healthcare market? 2. Would you focus more on cold calling, cold email, LinkedIn outreach, Facebook outreach, or paid ads? 3. What offer structure would make it easiest for a clinic owner to say "yes"? 4. How do you build enough trust and authority when you don't yet have case studies? Thank you.

Cold calling is the hardest so I'm guessing that's the best option?

Looking forward to watching this. As an aside, is anyone using Hermes Desktop with Calude? Just wondering as it sounds interesting but not sure entirely on the pros/cons.

@Ryan Doser Same! Although I haven't even started using Codex yet. I'm trying out Cowork and it does have it's uses. But still 90% Claude in VS Code.
how many will we see
how many new youtube videos will we see today with the title: New Fable 5 IS INSANE I am thinking eleventy-hundred today. that being said, I had an idea for a vibe coded web app yesterday... might just have to try out the new thing and see what happens. I saw that Nous Portal has it loaded for those of us that don't have an anthropic subscription.

@Catherine Eadie that's a good idea to use different models for different things. I need to try it more, instead of just using the latest one! For the blog post, I worked on the outline with Opus 4.8. Then started two new sessions, one in Opus and one in Fable. Then asked them both to write the blog post, following the outline and the other MD files for the project (voice, etc) Then I renamed the drafts so they were "blind" and asked Opus which one it thought was best. I also put them in ChatGPT and asked it the same - which one read better and which one followed the outline and rules in the MD files. Both thought the Fable one was better. And so did I after reading them, but I wasn't blind! The Fable one followed the rules better too. I asked Claude to look up the cost of the two sessions (if they had been run on API costs rather than as part of the plan), and Fable was half the price of Opus, as it was quicker or more efficient. I can't remember the exact reason, but Claude did a little table comparing the logs from each session. It was just one blog post, so I will try a few more before deciding. Although, after the June 22nd cutoff, I'm not sure I'll pay for Fable...

@Catherine Eadie before it was taken from us, I did create a few more drafts and I was reading through them, adding some comments, but overall they were pretty spot on. As Opus thought the Fable posts were better and agreed with the ChatGPT feedback, I've asked Opus to roll what made the Fable posts better into the instruction MD files for the project. So hopefully I can keep some of that better output, even without Fable.
Taking Fable 5 away.
They just took Fable 5 away from anyone that is not a US citizen.
Taking Fable 5 away.
