Change Yourself
I just want everyone here to know you can change your lifestyle if you want to bad enough; but it's almost impossible to do it alone. Being here was a beautiful start to my ability to change my habits. It's even more important now that I am retired. I was able to use my job as a deterrent to at least postpone my drinking until I got off work. Now I don't have that 'crutch' and could start drinking as soon as I wanted, which I did quite often. I think my 'aha' moment was when I was watching an episode of Cops and a man was detained for disorderly conduct. The officer asked him if he had been drinking and he responded with "Of course, what else am I gonna do? I'm retired." I am not going to be that guy !!

It's not an easy change to make, but is doable. Every day I have to set my attitude to avoid alcohol. As a side note, I still find myself subconsciously reaching for a bottle to make my rum and coke, but then go straight to the coke!
Finally All the Pieces of the Puzzle
Hi Everyone - I'm Beth and I joined Fit Recovery a few years ago in 2023. Prior to learning about Chris's approach, I focused mostly on the psycho-social aspects of overcoming AUD. I did LOT of work on mindset and was in multiple recovery groups, but none of the groups I was part of addressed the biochemical side of things. Learning how different foods and supplements could help balance my neurotransmitters (and positively impact my mood!) has been so fascinating. For those that haven't yet tried l-glutamine powder under the tongue for cravings - it's a game changer!

I will have to try that - thanks !!
Supplements make a difference!
Hi all - I started following Chris years ago because of his approach to holistic health. I have really benefited from learning about how the brain works and how certain supplements can help. For me, DLPA has been a game changer for managing my mood. Best wishes on your journey!

Can't help with the shipping, but it shouldn't be too difficult, since it's not FDA regulated and not hazardous.😎
Nutrient repair changed my life
I was always struggling with my drinking, and also mainly because I felt horrible when not drinking. Nutrient repair made a huge difference in how I was able to stay abstinece during the day, at first only during the day, but after that completely. When I feel down and have heavy cravings I combine BioRebalance with an extra spoon of L-Glutamine. Thanks for all the support Chris and team!

Been 10 months for me, still have cravings even with supplements. Just have to block them out.
