When he said “Let me read that to you again” I was so glad because I wasn’t really listening to what he said. I was listening to the words so fascinated by his pronunciation and accent that I didn’t listen to what he was saying. I can’t wait to hear his entire message!

Great story Ian!
He has risen!
The tomb was empty. Everyone — even Jesus’ enemies — agreed on that fact. In this powerful clip from our inaugural episode, Pastor Ian Leitch dismantles the weakest excuse for the empty tomb: “The disciples stole the body while the Roman soldiers were sleeping.” As he humorously points out — if the guards were asleep, how could they know what happened? The argument simply doesn’t hold up.This is strong evidence for the resurrection that every Christian should be ready to defend. 🎧 Listen to the full sermon here in the podcast section then discuss and share insights!

Ep 5 From Pop Star Dreams to God's Glory: Damaris Carbaugh's Radical Surrender
In Episode 5 of Voices of the Faithful, prepare to be captivated by the powerful, heartfelt testimony of renowned gospel singer and Brooklyn Tabernacle soloist Damaris Carbaugh — a woman whose voice has echoed in churches worldwide and whose life story reveals the radical redirecting power of God's grace. Born and raised in a loving Christian family in the gritty South Bronx, Damaris grew up immersed in the gospel, traveling with her itinerant ministry parents, singing in family trios, and even spending early childhood in pre-Castro Cuba. Yet amid a childhood filled with church, music, and godly grandparents, a spark ignited at age eight when she was "struck by music" during a children's choir rehearsal — launching a lifelong passion that led her to voice lessons, Broadway dreams, and a pursuit of pop stardom. Signing with Columbia Records, chasing fame bigger than Judy Garland or Barbra Streisand, she convinced herself that worldly success and Christian faith could coexist... until they couldn't. In a pivotal moment during a pastors' conference in Argentina in 1988 — invited by her longtime friend Pastor Jim Cymbala — God confronted her heart through the profound devotion of humble, poverty-stricken believers who loved Him with unmatched stamina and surrender. In one convicting instant, Damaris saw the truth: she had wasted years craving glory for herself instead of living to glorify Christ. What followed was raw repentance, a deep surrender, and a transformed purpose — shifting from seeking crowds chanting her name to longing for people to encounter the only name that saves. Damaris closes with her moving song "He Has Forgiven Me", a testimony in melody of grace that washes sin away and restores a clean heart before God. If you've ever wrestled with divided ambitions, self-deception in your faith walk, or the pull between worldly dreams and wholehearted devotion to Jesus, this episode will stir your soul and remind you of God's relentless mercy. Listen now to Episode 5 and let Damaris's journey challenge and encourage you. Share your own reflections in the comments, subscribe for more inspiring testimonies, and join the conversation — because faithful voices like hers are calling us all back to the One who truly deserves the glory!

Ep 7 Hard Pressed, But Not Crushed: Releasing the Treasure Within
"Ever had one of those mornings where nothing goes right — tech fails, notes vanish, and you’re already out of tears before you even start?" Pastor Ian Leitch opens with raw honesty and warm Scottish humor about his chaotic morning, then delivers a powerful reminder: "we carry an extraordinary treasure in ordinary jars of clay." In this uplifting sermon, Pastor Ian Leitch explores 2 Corinthians 4:7-12 and shows how God uses pressure, perplexity, persecution, and hardship — not to crush us, but to release the life of Jesus through us. With heartfelt stories from India, touching moments about caring for his disabled brother, and decades of ministry wisdom, he reminds us that negatives are designed to produce positives. Christ in you is the quiet confidence of glory. If you’ve ever felt hard pressed but not crushed, perplexed but not in despair, this message will strengthen your faith and help you fix your eyes on the eternal. Don’t keep this treasure hidden. Listen now, share the episode with someone who needs hope, and let Jesus shine through you this week.
