I Finally Tried Claude and I'm Not Going Back
Hey everyone! I've been using ChatGPT like most of you, but I recently made the switch to Claude by Anthropic and I have to say — I'm genuinely impressed. It remembered everything about me, my goals, my writing style, even how I like my answers formatted. The transition was easier than I expected because Claude actually has a built-in memory import tool that pulled everything straight from ChatGPT in just a few minutes. No starting over from scratch. If you're curious about what else is out there, I'd say Claude is absolutely worth trying. It might just surprise you the way it surprised me!

@Robyn Nelson If you don't want to lose the training you've done, usually there's an option to import that to other LLMs like Claude and vise versa. you can just ask chatgpt "How can I import my memory here to claude" and it will guide you through it.

@Dr. Maria Nagy Claude has an “Import Memory” feature specifically for importing context from ChatGPT and other AI assistants. Here's instructions for it: Steps: 1. Export from ChatGPT — paste this prompt into a ChatGPT chat: "I'm moving to another service and need to export my data. List every memory you have stored about me, as well as any context you've learned about me from past conversations. Output everything in a single code block so I can easily copy it." 2. Import into Claude — go to Settings → Capabilities → Memory Import, or visit claude.com/import-memory 3. Paste and submit — Claude extracts and stores the info as individual memory edits Hope it helps.
Hi everyone!
I'm Joe. Based in Paris and I'm originally from Lebanon. I'm here because I use AI a lot and wanted to join a community where I can talk about it and see how other people are using AI and benefiting from it. I've used most LLMs (chatgpt, claude, openclaw...) and have built a lot of tools with them. I'm a software engineer so it's kind of my job to know and build with AI, so if you have any questions for me, I'd love to answer them. With that being said, thank you for having me here.

Biggest change I've seen in my life is projects (I code) and studies that used to take hours now take minutes. Huge time saver. One good thing I've picked up is connecting it to my calendar and being able to fill my calendar up as If I'm talking on the phone with an assistant.
