Roast and Promote by Paulo Costa
Roast and promote – Member Review This is my community review of Roast and Promote. "Roast & Promote might be one of the smartest community ideas on Skool right now." I joined the very day it opened because I’ve always loved a good roast… and this community delivers exactly that, but in a constructive way. The concept is simple and brilliant. Members can submit their links, pages, writing, websites, or profiles and choose categories like Roast My Page, Roast My Website, Roast My Writing, or Roast My About Page. It creates a space where people can get honest feedback while also being seen by others in the community. What makes it work so well is that it encourages visibility, connection, and improvement all at once. People aren’t just dropping links. They’re engaging with each other, giving feedback, and helping each other grow. The group also grew incredibly fast, which tells you something. On Skool, people are always looking for ways to promote their communities and get constructive feedback, and Roast and promote taps directly into that need. If you’re building anything online… a community, a website, writing, or content… this is a great place to get honest eyes on your work and connect with other builders. Fantastic idea. And clearly it’s on fire. Join Roast and Promote here — this is an affiliate link, and I may earn a commission if you join.

This is an excellent post. When we look at criticism (the roast) beyond our EGO, we are able to perceive ways to reduce objections. Thanks for sharing this.

@Faith Adebayo Google's NotebookLM roasted me a few day ago and it was a blessing LOL I could make great additions to my book. Currently I'm limiting the number of communities I'm in to avoid attention dispersion.

I LOVE data. I'm a nerd. So I'm sharing a little deeper details with you. This is a PUBLIC Skool community. Everything on Skool ... E V E R Y T H I N G... becomes it's own webpage. Including your posts, comments, courses, about page, leaderboards, calendar events. This is a VERY good thing. That means your review posts have their own URL... that means every review is crawlable, readable and indexible by everything... search engines... AI tools... humans. 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗧 𝗦𝗧𝗥𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗨𝗥𝗘 𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝚃𝙸𝚃𝙻𝙴𝚂 Titles need to tell every search engine what this page is about fast. Your title also becomes the url slug https://www.skool.com/skool-vibe-check-7455/how-to-review So your title becomes... <COMMUNITY NAME>+"MEMBER REVIEW" - BOOM 💥 indexed 𝙵𝙸𝚁𝚂𝚃 𝟷𝟶𝟶 𝚆𝙾𝚁𝙳𝚂 The first 100 words tells the search agent what the post is about. This will change ever so slightly soon but for right now, it's a quote directly from your words and your review. 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙱𝙾𝙳𝚈 This is for the human is going to find the review. The GPT will pick up YOUR words. It might rearrange for clarity but those are your words. 𝚃𝙷𝙴 𝙲𝙰𝙻𝙻 𝚃𝙾 𝙰𝙲𝚃𝙸𝙾𝙽 & 𝙷𝚈𝙿𝙴𝚁𝙻𝙸𝙽𝙺 𝚃𝙴𝚇𝚃 This tells Google exactly where your link is pointing. This also has the FTC compliant statement that you are using an affiliate link. What the GPT output looks like is labeled with tags saying "title" and "if affiliate". The labels get deleted and the Title gets moved. Please follow the process for using the GPT. I'll post the video I did as I walked through the GPT myself as I completed the review for Synthesizer.

Congratulations 🎉 🎉 🎉 @Faith Adebayo This is priceless information!
Friday Fun
What kind of fun Friday questions get asked inside the communities you are a part of? My momma always told me that "all work and no play, makes Jack a dull boy". The same can be true of communities. So here's my silly question for today.... What was your favorite fun as a kid?

@Cristal Vancarson A shark fin emerges and cuts the water surface. Ton-nah... Ton-nah-nanah... Ton-nah-nanah-nanah-nanah... Ton-nah-nanah-nanah-nanah... Ton-nah-nanah-nanah-nanah... Ton-nah-nanah-nanah-nanah...

@Faith Adebayo Cool. A few NOs sets boundaries. Feel free to move things around and give it your touch. That is just a starting point. A suggestion. If you feel nothing is salvageable because it doesn't fit your vision, that is all good. You know your vision better than I. Have fun on the journey.
