Just watched the new Steven Bartlett x Professor Stuart Russell episode on AI and… wow. Probably one of the most important conversations I’ve seen on the subject. It’s not doom-and-gloom it’s about responsibility. The potential upside is huge — smarter systems, more time, more impact. But the risks if we get it wrong are just as big. Russell compares it to the “Gorilla Problem” We control gorillas because we’re smarter. What happens when we build something smarter than us? Made me think deeply about alignment, ethics, and the speed we’re moving at. I’m massively pro-AI but also aware this needs to be handled with care. Would love to hear your take 👉 Should this be the #1 global conversation right now? 👉 And if the “stop button” was in front of you today… would you press it? 🎧 Link: Spotify – Steven Bartlett x Stuart Russell P.S. This is a must-watch conversation one of the most important I’ve seen. 🎧 Listen here → https://open.spotify.com/episode/6LDmLYDdYwyBtwCqELGzQk?si=ZPUMp7eDTLmSgIj5PN4Z3Q @Steven Bartlett | Professor Stuart Russell P.P.S. I used AI to help create the visuals and structure this post not to replace my voice, but to express it more clearly. That’s what this is really about: using technology to serve humanity, not the other way round.

@Frank van Bokhorst Frank, I really appreciate you laying this out so clearly. 🙏 These concerns are real, and a lot of people are feeling them, even if they’re not always saying them out loud. I think where I slightly differ is this that those steps aren’t an inevitable path they’re a warning sign of what happens if humans switch off their responsibility. AI doesn’t decide to dominate. People decide how it’s integrated, where it’s used, and what we outsource to it. You’re absolutely right to call out the risks around dependence and loss of critical thinking that’s exactly why this conversation matters now, not later. If we sleepwalk into it, the outcome won’t be good. For me, the goal isn’t blind adoption or blind resistance. It’s conscious use. Using AI as a support, not a crutch. As a tool that frees humans to think better, not think less. And making sure people stay in the loop, not out of it. If we lose learning, curiosity, and responsibility that’s not an AI failure. That’s a human one. This is exactly why we need these discussions in the open. 👊

@Frank van Bokhorst You’re right to raise that, Frank and I don’t think you’re wrong to be uneasy about it. AI building AI does change the dynamic, especially when incentives are driven by power, speed, and competition rather than wisdom. History does show us that when capability outpaces responsibility, things tend to go wrong usually not because of the tool itself, but because of who controls it and why. Where I still hold the line is this, history repeating itself isn’t a law of nature it’s a failure of awareness. That’s why I keep coming back to this being a human governance problem, not just a technical one. If we treat AI development as purely a race, then yes, we’ll repeat the same patterns we always have. If we treat it as something that needs constraint, humility, and shared oversight, the outcome can be different. None of that is guaranteed. And pretending the risk isn’t real helps no one. But I also don’t think the answer is resignation or inevitability. It’s exactly conversations like this pressure, debate, disagreement happening before things are fully out of our hands. If we stop questioning direction now, then history will repeat itself. If we keep questioning it loudly and early, we at least give ourselves a chance not to. That’s why I’m glad you’re speaking about this 🤝🔥
🚀New Video: I Built an AI Voice Receptionist with Vapi and n8n MCP (free template)
I built a full AI voice receptionist using VAPI on the front-end and n8n on the back-end, powered by an n8n MCP server that connects to seven n8n workflows. In this video, I walk through the entire system from scratch and show how the agent gathers info, manages the CRM, books and updates appointments, transfers calls, answers questions, logs every call, and keeps an appointment history. Everything is built with no code and designed to be easy to customize for your own use case. By the end, you’ll understand the full setup and have everything you need to launch your own AI receptionist. GOOGLE SHEET TEMPLATE

🚀New Video: How to Use the NEW Nano Banana 2 in n8n (cheaper & no watermark)
What a crazy week in the AI space... In this video, I break down Google’s new NanoBanana Pro image model, and it is hands down the most detailed image generator I’ve used so far. I’ll show you how to plug it into n8n to level up your AI agents and automation workflows, and how to get it running cheaper than the official price with no watermarks. We’ll walk through text to image, image to image, and using multiple input images so you can test different prompts right away. The setup is simple, there’s no code needed, and you can follow along step by step as we build this workflow together.
