Daily Dose: November. One line a day for the fridge
A new printable for the fridge. Twelve short lines, one a day. Each one is true, and each comes with a small job. Like this: swelling peaks around day six to eight, not day one. Today: feet up higher than your heart for twenty minutes. Or: sleep is often still broken at a month. It usually turns after about three. Today: ice and raise the leg before bed, not once it's sore. It's in The First Twelve Weeks, under Downloads, in A4 and US Letter: https://www.skool.com/your-recovery-physio-9967/classroom/8c5c67dd?md=61e023fcef5c4eb594cadbcb7bf41bf1 Which day are you on, and what's the one line you needed this week?

Having surgery in November? Post your date
If your knee replacement is booked for November 2026, this is your thread. Reply with: - your surgery date - where you are in the world - one thing you want to be able to do again afterwards People with dates close to yours are the best company for the first few weeks. You'll hit the same days at the same time. Already had yours? Reply with one thing you'd tell someone two weeks out. General information, not medical advice.

Having surgery in November? Post your date
Weekly check-in #1: one win, one wobble, one question
Whatever week you're in, tell us three things: One win. Anything. First shower, slept past 3am, got the stick to the letterbox. One wobble. What got harder this week, or what worried you. One question. I read every one and answer in the thread. Start your reply with where you're up to, like "pre-op, date in 3 weeks" or "week 4". That way people on your timeline can find you. If something feels wrong today, don't wait for the thread. Ring your team: the surgeon's rooms, the ward or your GP. General information, not medical advice.

The 7-Day Get-Ready Challenge 🗓️
Got a date for your knee replacement? Seven small jobs, one a day. Reply to this post each day with ✅ and the day number. Day 1: Print Your Six-Week Countdown from the Getting-Ready Kit and put it on the fridge. Day 2: Write a list of every medicine you take, with the dose. Include vitamins and anything from the chemist. Day 3: Walk the path from your bed to the toilet and the kitchen. Move anything you'd trip on with a frame. Day 4: Try Program 1 once. Six gentle exercises, with drawings to follow. Day 5: Fill in the five questions for your surgeon. Add one of your own. Day 6: Practise getting in and out of the car and the bed, slowly, the way you'll do it afterwards. Day 7: Cook double for dinner and freeze half. Then tell us which day was hardest. Already had your operation? Reply with the one job you wish you'd done before. General information, not medical advice. Follow your own team's instructions where they differ.

What should I write next?
Tell me the topic you went looking for and could not find. One request per comment, and say your stage: "pre-op", "week 3", "month 5". HOW IT WORKS - Each month I put the most-asked topics into a poll here, and write the winner as a new guide. - When a guide comes from a request, I post it in "You asked, I wrote" so you can find it. - Describe things in general terms. This is a place for topics, not for advice about your own knee. For that, your own surgeon, physiotherapist or GP is the person to ask. Anything urgent about your own knee: ring your own team today. Chest pain or breathlessness: 000 (Australia), 999 (UK) or 911 (US).
