50/50 with a producer?
Of all the bs going right now(apparently) with Producers and Artists... Would yall be open to a 50/50 split? Meaning the producer bring the beats, artist bring the lyrics. Plain and simple. No payments made upfront. We split sales and royalties straight down the middle. Anything extra like shows merch etc can be discussed.

@Ben Caesar Oh wow! Learning new stuffs, i had no idea the marketing also plays a part in the negotiating process, mostly because i was under the impression that most artists usually have a separate team in place for the marketing aspect

Does Album Sequencing Still Matter In the Streaming Era?
"Although the way that people listen to music has changed significantly in recent years, with the rise of streaming and on-demand services, the impact of album sequencing on the overall listening experience has not diminished." FULL ARTICLE - https://djbooth.net/features/2023-02-13-album-sequencing-in-streaming-era I think it absolutely matters even if it changes how a listener receives the music I still don't know anyone putting new albums on shuffle. They may skip to their favorite song(s), repeat them a zillion times but still at some point may listen to the album start to bottom or at least try to. I think it's important to define what the album is for a particular artist and project. It may be a collection of songs the artist thought fit well or it could actually have a theme regardless the sequencing would still matter when a listener sat down to digest the album. Thoughts?

Mental Health while pursuing your dreams
I know this is not something a lot of people talk about, but it needs to be discussed. It get's really lonely really quick when you're in grind mode trying to put out content everyday, especially when you're trying but it doesn't feel like it's going anywhere. I'm sure many of you can relate to this. The spark of motivation you once had starts to dim, and the negative thoughts start to creep in, furthering your spiral even more. What are some things you do to reignite motivation within yourself to get back into doing what you should be doing?

I can relate to this, whenever i start feeling this way I always take a break to rejuvenate, look for more inspiration, take a breather, try some other things out , ofc meditation and prayers and i try to be out more , engage with family and friends cause at the end of the day all work and no play makes Jack a dull boy, what’s the point of having everything with no one to share it with and worse at the cost of my mental health, it won’t last
