Hi ladies, I'm going live tomorrow at 5pm BST (Tuesday), if that's not a good time for you, no problem - Comment below with any questions you have on menopause, fitness, nutrition, sleep, whatever! Let me know if you're planning to attend, if you are then you'll be my first member!! Next week it will be quiet as I'm of to the Italian Dolomites on Sunday for a week of hiking. Fresh air, beautiful scenery and good food hopefully.

Wow enjoy your holiday 😎
💪 New Video: Home Strength Training for Arms
Ladies, your new workout video is live! This one is all about your arms — and trust me, this is one area we really don't want to neglect after 50, especially those "bingo wings". Muscle loss accelerates during menopause, and keeping your arms strong supports everyday movements. In today's video I walk you through 5 exercises you can do right at home — just a pair of dumbbells and a bit of space: - 🔵 3 Tricep exercises — targeting the back of the arms (yes, that area! 😄) - 🔴 2 Bicep exercises — building strength through the front of the arms 4 of the exercises use dumbbells (or you can use water bottles) and 1 is bodyweight only — so if you're not quite ready to grab the weights yet, you can still join in. I coach you through each one so you understand why we're doing it, not just how. Give it a watch and let me know how you get on in the comments! 🌟 Nutrition Audit Update A huge thank you to everyone who reached out about the Nutrition Audit — the 5 spaces filled up incredibly quickly and I am so grateful for the enthusiasm! If you missed out this time, don't worry — I'm putting together a waiting list for the next cohort. Drop a 🙋 in the comments or send me a message and I'll make sure you're first to know when spaces open up. As always, I'm here if you have any questions. Now go get those arms working! 💪 — Jackie x

My Elavate Collagen Journey Update (Plus a sneaky behind-the-scenes win! 🤫)
Hey everyone! Wendy, one of our community members recently asked me how my collagen journey is going with Elavate and if the results live up to the hype. Since I'm currently on my fourth pack, I wanted to share an honest update—both as a fellow consumer and from my perspective as a Nutritional Therapist. First, a quick, exciting bit of behind-the-scenes news: Because of my nutrition degree, I reached out to the Founder at Elavate a little while back to ask some technical questions about their ingredient profile and queried a formulation and suggested a specific adjustment to the formulation. Well… I just checked, and they have actually updated the formulation to match my recommendation! It is an incredible feeling to see a brand actively listening to science-backed feedback to make their product even better. As for my actual results? Here is exactly what I’ve experienced over the last few months: 1. Joint & Hiking Mobility I initially started taking it to see if it would help with left-sided hip flexor pain that was severely limiting my hikes. I had to scale back to just 3-5 miles. Today, I am back up to 9 miles on weekends, and we’ve officially booked a walking holiday to the Italian Dolomites for mid-June!🏔️ The Nutritionist Nuance: Around the same time, I started seeing an osteopath and now get a 30-minute deep tissue massage every 4–6 weeks. I believe in total transparency—the therapy definitely helped, but I truly feel the collagen blend accelerated the structural recovery. 2. The "Hidden" Victory: Nighttime Nerve Pain is GONE 🛌 There was another symptom that was driving me crazy: that hip flexor pain eventually turned into a nagging, shooting nerve pain at night. It got to the point where I couldn’t sleep on my right side without my left side flaring up. By my 2-month review, this nerve pain had completely disappeared. Being a total nutrition nerd, I went digging into the clinical research to figure out why. I found a fascinating study showing that collagen acts like a "GPS and Scaffolding" for our nervous system. When nerves are compressed or irritated, collagen helps rebuild the protective environment around them and recruits "repair cells" to patch them up. This essentially mutes those painful error signals! It shows huge, exciting potential for anyone dealing with neuropathy or nerve issues.

Hi there, firstly thanks @Maureen Higham so much for posting my first Q&A question. I hope I've answered it thoroughly in the call. Firstly I share my screen and take you through how to get into the areas in Skool, classroom etc. I also show you how to download the Google tracker (as long as you have a Google account). I then move on to answering Mo's question. Please post any questions below. Or any questions for future Thrive Live calls. 🌸
