No resolution for me in 2026
I have always seen resolutions as something you want to change, either start doing, or stop. This year I am committing to myself to keep doing what I have been doing for the last several years. I will continue to grow, continue to strive to be a better man, partner, and father. I will continue to share my passions and pass on the knowledge I have acquired, and I will continue to learn as much about as much as I can. In stead of Resolutions this year, I'm setting goals. I want to help as many people get into leatherwork as possible. I want to use that passion to replace my construction worker income so I can spend that time with my family, and my community. What are your goals for 2026?

To be gainfully employed, make beautiful things, to put kindness back into the world when its so bent on trying to turn us against one another.
Introduction Post
Hey all, let's get to know each other. just something simple, say hi, maybe where you are and something interesting about yourself. Let's post a picture of where you (or are going to) do your leatherworking.

@GW Brown one is rubbery for pounding and cutting, the other is the tabletop which is my sewing table (I multi-task 😂 ).

@GW Brown oh! you are right, they are different. So technically there are three mats! The table is a folding measuring table big enough to cut out a dress on. Then I have the cutting mat that has the measurements, then the pound board. LOL!
