Canvas sizes?
Hi! I’ve just joined! I’m at the buying supplies stage. What size canvases are you all generally working on for your paintings to get started with? I’m completely new to oil painting. Done a few weeks of watercolor. Thanks!

@Joe Taylor I have mixed media paper on a pad that says it is suitable for oil and acrylic so I’ve used that for my value study. Seemed to do the job!

Sea Scape from Sam's tutorial
Hi folks. I am brand new to the Painters Hub. I came upon Samuel Earp’s blog early in 2026. I was immediately captivated by his seascape paintings. Attached is my rendition of Sam’s “How-to-paint-a-dramatic-seascape-in-5-easy-steps”. I would appreciated some constructive feedback.
