I put on my disbelief suspenders and made it out safe. There are a ton of good jokes in this project. A seamless continuance of Canon(lol) I'm glad all the detectives continued the family tradition (FACTS (it's in the movie(lol))). That being said, it isn't better than Angi Tribeca, nor any of the originals, but if we are going to be stuffy. Let's talk well clothed Gun;s , not this clearly Naked Gun. I think it was better than Mcgruber, which is going to save me big on that Vegas bet.

@Steven Diliberto let’s be clear. I am by no means actually trying to measure continuity of Canon. For me Continuity of comedic participation is primary. So I’ll double down. We can clearly see the facts. Obviously, the actor is a genetic ancestor of Leslie Nielsen, Because his first name starts with an L and his last name starts with an N. CSI case closed on that one. And obviously that scene which includes the sacred photo of the man, the myth, the legend Lieutenant Drebbin, and then it pulls out, and all those all guys are crying to their deceased, parental detective. Fact enough for me;) lol I still stand by my statements it was better than MacGruber. I’m not sure if there’s a film that spoofS detective work that I have missed recently? Other than the cherished holy trilogy. I’ll take what I can get. Cinematically although significantly different I would probably put Machete in fourth place. But we can’t forget the TV series nutrition that’s out there. Angie Tribeca obviously needs to be sainted or tainted as my spellcheck has suggested,or whatever.
