Request from X
Hi All, I have been requested to discuss this in an X space. I did post today to see what sort of response I would get, and it was pretty large and positive. I might give it a try. Thoughts? @Sherri Reese @Jason G @Rebecca Abbott @Rebecca Solomon @Babak D @Elly K @The Daijal

Yes. Wiki was captured years ago. A friend of mine used to have editing privileges on Wiki. He said that if he wrote anything about Israel or Jews, or tried to edit any of the misrepresentations, those corrections would be re-edited and he would be locked out. One of the founders, Larry Sanger, left and said that the intention of Wiki was subverted and became corrupted. This is what AI has to say on the topic and yes, I know, you can’t trust Google AI either 🤣 “Larry Sanger, Wikipedia's co-founder, has been indefinitely banned from editing the platform. A longtime critic of the site, he says Wikipedia has abandoned its original principles, developed a strong left-wing bias, and implemented unfair blacklists against conservative and minority viewpoints. [1, 2, 3, 4] Key stances on the platform: - Ideological Bias: He frequently argues that editors' notions of credibility inherently prejudice articles against conservatism, traditional religion, and certain international or minority perspectives (such as points of view from India or Israel). [1, 2, 3] - The "Nine-Point Plan": He released a list of changes he hopes leadership adopts, which includes ending indefinite blocks, abolishing media blacklists, enabling competing articles, and allowing the public to rate the neutrality of articles. [1] - The Recent Ban: Sanger was indefinitely blocked by volunteer editors after attempting to start a "WikiProject Intellectual Diversity". Editors accused him of "off-wiki canvassing"—mobilizing his massive social media following to join internal Wikipedia debates and influence outcomes. Sanger heavily criticized this block, calling the process a "kangaroo court" that lacks due process.”
