Weekly Discussion #35 - Haunted Hotels
Hotels can be some of the most haunted places. They can be old, have a lot of history (both good and bad), and they can be abandoned or functional. It could be a proper hotel or a bed and breakfast. Here is an article from Country Living listing 24 Most Haunted Hotels in America. Have you been to any of these or any haunted hotels? If you have not stayed in a haunted hotel or bed and breakfast before, which one would it be and why? For those outside the USA, do you know of any haunted hotels in your area? 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗮 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝗾𝘂𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿: - Do tragic histories make hauntings more likely, or just more memorable? - Why do hotels seem to attract paranormal reports more than other buildings? - Could hotels act like “energy reservoirs” because thousands of people pass through them? - Do you think certain room numbers repeatedly become active because of suggestion and expectation? - Could Prohibition-era hotels and speakeasies contribute to paranormal legends because of violence and secrecy? - Are hauntings strengthened when guests continually retell the stories? I feel like hotels hold a lot of energy because people constantly come and go and back in the 1940 and later it was normal to have men clubs at hotels where a lot of secrets were kept and sadness happens
Question for lovely people of the collective
If a paranormal "travel" company existed, what are some things that you would look for them to set up for you? example...semi private groups for seasoned investigators/ paranormal teams, hotel/location packages, a place for teams to chat beforehand to get to know each other...

Def hotel and location packages would be awesome.
Paranormal Bucket list
I have been listening to podcasts and talking with people, everyone in the paranormal field seems to have a common thing that we all never talk about in great detail with others. A bucket list. What are your top 5 bucket list locations that you would love to investigate at, being paranormal what kind of location is it, the ghosties, extra terrestrial, or cryptid?

Weekly Discussion # 32 - Can Spirits Travel from Location to Location?
This week let’s talk about spirits and portals. Do you believe spirits are tied to a location or can they move to different locations? Possibly through portals? Is their energy tied to one specific location or can a spirit “haunt” more than one location? What are your thoughts?

Oooh good question. I have a couple theories. I am curious if anyone feels the same or learn from others. I think it depends. I think there’s residual energy and intelligent. Your residual energy could be in multiple places that you went to all the time and did the same things. That’s why I think people can see the same spirit in different places. I also feel that intelligent spirit can come and go as they please which is why you might not always get them when you investigate and that they can use different portals to go where they want.

Weekly Discussion #31 - Mimic spirits or Psychic Imprint?
Here’s a thought. Some locations are said to have spirits that mimic others voices. But what if that voice was just an imprint of your voice that is coming back through a specific frequency. What are your thoughts on this? Have you had an experience where you had heard the voice of a person you know at a haunted location?

I really think that mimics are another type of cryptid that can lure you away. I have never heard of what happens when they lure you and I don’t think I want to know lol.
