Hello, my name is Jessica. Throughout my life, I’ve always been very active, with running being my primary passion. I’ve been deeply involved in track from 3rd grade all the way through my senior year of high school. I was always enrolled in some kind of program, continually pushing myself to improve. It was a constant cycle of challenge and growth, and I thrived in that environment. However, as many of you may know, once you step away from a sport, it’s tough to find that same motivation to get back into a routine and stay on track. That’s one of the reasons why I’m here today. I want to set new goals for myself and work toward becoming a better version of me, surrounded by a supportive community – much like being part of a team once again. One of the biggest challenges I faced in my journey was at the age of 18. I experienced thyroid complications that significantly impacted my body and energy levels. I sought help from a holistic doctor who created a personalized diet plan, which helped me get my health back on track. Now that I’ve regained my health, I’m ready to take the next step in my journey. I want to challenge myself physically once more, using exercise as a tool for growth.
