Welcome!
Well hello there!! 👋 😊 👋 “Hey beautiful sister, I’m so glad you’re here! One of the best parts of Women of Grit & Grace is that it’s not just about consuming content—it’s about building real connections with other real women who get it. So here’s your very first step inside the community: I’d love for you to introduce yourself in our welcome thread! When you share, here are a few fun ideas to help us get to know you: ✨ Tell us your name and where you’re from.✨ Share what drew you to Women of Grit & Grace—what made you say ‘yes, this is for me’?✨ And—just for fun—share either a funny story, a favorite coffee order, or a little testimony about how God’s shown up in your life lately. What ever you feel comfortable sharing. Don’t overthink it, this isn’t a performance. Just be yourself. Remember—we’re here for encouragement, not perfection. I’ll go first in the thread so you can see an example. Then I can’t wait to read your post and celebrate with you!” 💡 Optional Scripture to close:Romans 12:5 – “So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”

✨ Tell us your name and where you’re from: Hello 🥰 My name is Jessie and I grew up in a small little hamelt called Patricia near Dinosaur Park (about 30 min outside of brooks) Moved to Red Deer the summer I turned 15. I still feel like the Patricia area is home lol ✨ Share what drew you to Women of Grit & Grace—what made you say ‘yes, this is for me’? Robin drew me to women of grit & Grace...that and being in need of community and guidance. ✨ And—just for fun—share either a funny story, a favorite coffee order, or a little testimony about how God’s shown up in your life lately. I just recently went camping with my husband and little guy Shepherd who will be 3 in October. My highlight of the trip was our first night, at a evening market at the camp ground. There was a choir of seniors singing little diddy's and a few hymns. No one was really watching or paying any attention other then a few seniors that had come along. The choir looked like they were just going through the motions...no real feeling behind it...until shepherd came along. He was their biggest cheerleader...clapping and cheering with as much enthusiasm as his little hands and body could manage...dancing to all the songs with delight. The faces of the choir just beamed with happiness...they were now singing for shepherd and clapped and cheered for him and his dancing. The beautiful shift in the energy...the light that was added to the night just warmedand filled my heart right up. I know he made their night and they made his. I will cherish that memory forever. Favorite coffee is adding a little maple syrup and cream...call it a lumberjack lol
