Hi- this is wonderful because I do sometimes have questions about repairs. I took two online classes as well as attended Landell workshops which were a little bit more than my skill set at the time, but my options available on my limited time schedule. My goal is to provide affordable flutes/service to those who wish to learn to play, or, if they have an older flute from their student years and want to pick it up again. Between limited playing opportunities post high school as well as high costs, we have lost many players over the past decade- young and older. High school used to have ten or more flute players; now, maybe two or four. What will happen to our industry if the numbers continue to decline? Will there be enough players to buy their dream luxury flutes once they finally have the means? Or will this become an elite only hobby? Sorry so much- but very passionate about the industry outside the professional playing setting. It’s great to watch them but it’s also great just to play- alone or with others for socializing, sharing and fun.
