Such a powerful statement!! It is so true, we know it from our standpoint. The thing to remember is, for each person it is a different experience on a feelings, values and beliefs system that they assigned to the event itself. We create our own meaning- teach from our knowledge , while respecting the value others have put on the same event in their lives.

I believe it is also our responsibility to try and help those stuck in the grey in our purposes through skills as personal life consultants/coaches, to offer volunteering in organizations. It doesn't mean you get stuck in the grey with them but, help build them up, find resources to offer a better life for them as Roosevelt did during his presidency. He built so many programs to give back to the communities and people- SSI, Food programs to help those with hunger issues, IRS department to claim taxes at the end of the year. We need to see him in his full light- he created programs to help those in need, while recongizing his power to do so( staying out of the grey) - being used as a tool for change.
