Starting 2026 a bit differently (and opening up a few 1-1 spots)
I’m starting 2026 with a bit of a promise to myself to seriously limit my use of social media, both as a user and a creator. Honestly, it’s boring me, and I don’t feel like it’s the best place for artists like us to really thrive. That’s one of the reasons I value this space. It’s a way to connect with like-minded people without all the noise. Alongside that, I’m also making a vow to help more violinists here personally achieve their goals in jazz. I’ve been there. Wanting to learn jazz but not feeling good enough to start, or being at a certain point in my playing and not knowing how to move to the next level. Especially if you didn’t come through a very traditional classical route. That was me too. I genuinely believe I can give anyone, from any musical background, the right start in jazz. That’s why I created my beginners class. Recently, I’ve been working with people in here through 1-1 jazz violin coaching, and I’m opening things up to a few more. I’m looking for up to three violinists in this community who want more guidance, structure, and direction. I’ve reduced my coaching package in the Classroom by 10% for the next three days as a small nudge for anyone who’s been thinking about getting more support. I’m ready to take on a few more students and help them move forward in 2026. The package includes four 1-1 sessions, check-ins, detailed practice plans, and two months’ access to my Practice Club. It’s worth more than it’s currently priced at, but right now I just want to help people in here make real progress. If you’re interested, send me a message on here or go straight to the Classroom to sign up. If jazz violin excites you but you feel a bit stuck or unsure what your next step is, this is exactly who it’s for
