🤝 How I Found My People
📈 A few people have asked how I've grown this community to almost 400 in a few months, so I thought I'd share. The truth? It wasn't just one thing. Yes, the Skool discovery feed has definitely helped, and I've even spotted my community in Skool ads. 😊 But the biggest driver of growth has been consistently getting in front of other people's audiences. 🤝 Speaking in summits 📦 Participating in bundles 📧 Sharing with my email list 💜 Being active in communities where I believe my people are already hanging out That last one is important... Finding the right communities isn't an overnight thing. It's trial and error. You join. You participate. You build relationships. Sometimes it's a great fit. Sometimes it isn't. Over time, you start to recognize where your people naturally gather ... and those are the rooms worth investing your time in. Every collaboration and every community has introduced me to people who probably never would have found me otherwise. That's why I believe so strongly in borrowing audiences before trying to build a bigger one on your own. 💬 I'd love to know... Where has your best audience growth come from so far? ----------------- P.S. One more thing I forgot to mention... 😄 When someone signs up for one of my free resources, the thank you page and welcome email both invite them to join this community. In fact, that's exactly how some of you found me! 💜 Little systems like that really add up over time.

This is really great insight. Thank you for sharing! I am just getting started with bundles. I am in one in July and then also signed up for yours 🤭. I'm also looking to host my own Summit in the Fall... but that's just in the VERY early planning phases. I fully agree with being active in other communities also, and I think that is a really big help for my growth. I am wondering, do you also post on Social Media at all? FB, IG, TT, or YT?
💻 My Bundle Tech Stack (It's Simpler Than You Think!)
One of the biggest misconceptions about hosting a bundle is that you need a complicated tech setup. You really don't. 😊 Here's what I'll be using for the Audience Growth Society Bundle this August: 🎨 Canva – graphics and promo images 📧 Flodesk – registration form, emails for contributors and subscribers 💳 ThriveCart – affiliate links, and the VIP checkout (if I decide to offer one) 🌐 My website – the contributor registration page, bundle hub, and the page where attendees will access all of the freebies 📁 Google Drive – contributor docs, swipe copy, and shared resources And... that's pretty much it! 😄 Could I add more tools? Sure. Do I need to? Nope. Sometimes we overcomplicate things before we even get started. My advice? Start simple. You can always make things fancier later. 💬 What's one business tool you couldn't live without? ------------------------------- P.S. One more thing... 😊 This isn't my first bundle. I hosted a very similar one last year, which means I didn't have to start from scratch this time. I updated the branding, refreshed the theme, made a few improvements, and reused a lot of what I'd already built. That's one of my favorite things about hosting events like this. You create the systems once... then you can rinse and repeat year after year.

☕ It's Ask Me Anything Monday!
Have a question about... 🎤 Hosting a summit? 📦 Running a bundle? 🤝 Finding collaboration partners? 🎙️ Guest podcasting? 📧 Growing your email list? 💜 Premium? Or anything else related to audience growth? Drop it in the comments! No question is too big or too small. If I know the answer, I'm happy to help. 😄👇

Hi @Julie Butler happy Monday! I’ve never run a Bundle but am thinking it could be something fun to do. I’m curious … can they be run for any type of community? And also, do you find your participants mostly in your own community to contribute to it?

🏕️ Confession...
This weekend I'm going camping. And by camping, I mean... RV camping. 😆 We're talking comfy beds, coffee, good friends, and absolutely zero sleeping on the ground. I like to call it camping... with standards. 😂 I'm planning to unplug a little, spend time with some amazing girlfriends, and recharge before another busy season. Now... I can't exactly bring my sewing machine with me (trust me, I thought about it 🤣). But yarn? Oh yes. The yarn is definitely making the trip. Tell me I'm not the only one who packs a project "just in case." 😂 So now I want to know... Do you have any fun summer plans to unplug a little? (Or winter plans if you're on the other side of the planet! ❄️) Camping? Travel? A staycation? A good book? Or are you like me and sneaking a creative project into your suitcase anyway? 😆👇

Hope you had a wonderful weekend getaway! And yes… it’s nice to have a little project handy for those quiet mornings or evenings
Hi Everybody!
I'm so happy to find this group! In my previous life, I was a full time blogger in the fiber art world. Then, I was forced to pivot and now run an almost-full-time Etsy shop for digital printable products geared to kids, families and teachers. My next step is to build my email list and teach others how to start their own digital product biz. Anyhoo, thank you Julie for this wonderful group. I look forward to meeting you guys! Annette
