🇮🇹 A Lesson from Italy: Carbs, Pizza, and… Weight Loss?
I just got back from 2 weeks in Italy — and here’s the wild part: I ate pizza, pasta, bread, gelato almost every day… yet I came home leaner. Sounds backwards, right? But here’s what I noticed: - Walking – We walked everywhere. Easily 15–20k steps a day. Movement after meals was normal, not forced. - Stress – The pace of life was slower. Italians take time to eat, relax, and enjoy. Lower stress = better digestion and recovery. - Food quality – The bread, pasta, and even gelato felt lighter. Less processed, fewer additives, and probably higher nutrient density. - So here’s the big takeaway 👉 carbs aren’t the enemy. It’s usually lifestyle, movement, and stress that make the biggest difference.
