4BAD September 7th through 14th
At a kitchen table in the middle of the night. At a dinner sipping coffee In a chair at government office waiting for your number to be called. You never know when bars will strike your mind. Now you have a space to share your 4 bars a day. I'll write my bars here in the comments of this post. Join me and share your practice. Remember 8-12 syllables per line and end in rhyme. That's bars. Here is some inspiration if the blank page got you stuck. 3 objects: Marble. Satellite. Photograph. Pick one and write your 4 bars. Lets Go!

Welcome. Let's start with the intros
Glad you are here, but who are you? Let's start with introductions! Where you from? Where you at? What brings you here? Something about yourself and your life.

Jesse the Imaginer- bornand raised in Zig Zag, OR- in the woods. Now I still live in the 503 but more urban. I teacher language arts for employment and rap words for enjoyment. Peace to the Rhyme Masters Crew and DLUX for doing what you do.
What should I teach?
If I were to do at least one new course in the next few months, what should I teach?

I think a freestyle rap for personal growth course would be dope.
Hip Hop you da love of my life
This may be too deep for a first post, but here it goes. Why do you love rap? If love is a strong word, then try "become fond of", or "kinda dig", or "friends with benefits". You get it. What makes rapping enjoyable to you?

I love R.A.P. (Rhythm and Poetry)- for the liberation that comes through verbal expression, the stories of transferring pain to triumph, and the overall creative connections that bring emotional and somatic joy to my being and the collective. Long live this rap and all the elements of Hiphop!
