I think, especially for men, it’s easy to get caught in a repetitive cycle—work, relationships, raising kids, paying bills, and just handling whatever is right in front of us. We become so focused on meeting the immediate demands of life that we lose sight of the bigger picture and put our larger goals and purpose on hold. Over time, we can neglect our mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being, even though those are some of the most important parts of living a meaningful life. Then one day we wake up feeling disconnected, wondering, “How did I get here?” or “What happened to the person I wanted to become?” I’m past that stage now, but finding a new path and redefining purpose isn’t easy. It’s a challenging process, but I think it’s a necessary one. I believe that’s what you’re speaking to.
