Registration Form: Parents' interest in helping VBS
Hi I have a quick question on the VBS registration form, do you have a verbiage of inviting parents to participate and help in VBS, and the areas parents could help on? I remember we mentioned it in one of the cohort discussion. Thanks a lot if you could provide an example!

@Grace Ngau --we do! On the registration form the question reads: Would you like to volunteer at VBS this year? and the answer choices are : Yes! The week of VBS helper, Yes! The week before VBS setup! or No! Not this year. Anyone who replies yes (they can choose both options too), I reach out to them individually in an email and invite them to volunteer with a link to register. Then within THAT link to register, they can choose WHERE they'd like to share their talents, i.e. a group leader, rotation assistant, etc.

Volunteer Training
Thanks for a great Zoom call today! I want to start the discussion on Volunteer Training. How do you typically facilitate it? We have over 100 volunteers so trying to get them all together seems challenging! In the past it's been a luncheon and slideshow but I want to make it more engaging! Maybe livestream it? An evening instead of a Sunday afternoon? Childcare? Alllll the thoughts! Thanks for sharing!
