This is good and also a subject of contention with some. I encourage those I teach to use Google (or any search engine) to search for scripture even if they have no ideal whether what they are looking for is actual scripture or not. It is true that this will help them to become self-reliant and more likely to study on their own, but isn't that what we want?
What was the sermon today!!
Hello family!! I hope everyone had a great day!!!! What was the sermon God Spoke to you today and how do you plan to walk it out in your life!
Sunday's word was: "Forget What You Think" Proverbs 3:5, Mark 10:29-30, Don't think we work hard to make things happen in our lives. We work at entering into the Rest of the Lord and Trust Him to lead and to promote us. The Lord restores everything we give up for His Name's sake...
Overcoming Negativity
I recently realized my desire to Not deal with negativity🤔 (Let me Qualify that) I understand that everyone is not on the same level. Therefore, we see things differently. I encourage people (Ro 15:1) and seek to help my brethren. I try to help them find the silver lining in every situation, especially if they are Believers (Ro 8:28). However, when I share hope & encouragement and it is met with more negativity, I just let them talk. When its a situation where I can remove myself, I will. But if I have to remain, I will sit quietly. Now that I am a Pastor, I understand the need to be watchful and mindful of my actions. Is there a "Best" way to deal with negativity, especially from the body?

Thank you Apostle. I too see this as "casting my pearls to the swine" and I pray for the Lord to renew their mind. My mom says, "you can lead them to the well and put their head in, but if they don't want to drink they will just blow bubbles" Thank you for sharing😊
Question?
If you could sit under any preacher or leader for one month of mentorship, who would it be and what would you want to learn from them?

This is very thought provoking. There have been many times in my walk with the Lord that I asked him to give me a mentor. He never did 🤔 After the 3rd time asking him for someone, He led me to 1 John 2:27. I said, "Really Lord"? He then allowed me different platforms like this one to be among people who have gone where I want to be. In response to your question; there are several Pastors who come to mind that I would love to spend time with to be enlightened. However, no one I will name at this time. I am going to put more thought into this, so when I am given the opportunity, I won't have to think, I can simply respond. Thank you for the question
