A quick question
My channel is going to be primarily talking about what it can look like when you have to put yourself back together. I’ll be talking about homeschooling, starting a new business and getting healthy in a western medicine based culture. Autoimmune disease and Ehler Danlos are apart of my world, what do you struggle with? What made you realize you needed to start over?

Hello! I wish somebody would have just told me....
2015 me would really love to sit down with 2025 me. In 2015, after struggling with Hashimoto's since 2003, I had my thyroid out. It was significantly inflamed and impeding my breathing. The doctors said it was too inflamed to do anything but remove it. At that time if the doctor said it, I would do it. 2025 me would have researched the now buzz-y anti inflammatory diet. maybe grab some prednisone while I try to see what I could get my body to respond to. Come to find out I also have Ehler Danlo's syndrome as well. My goal of this page is to just share a bit of my story. This is not medical advice. I'm quite literally nobody. But I have been through health wise as doctors told me I was fine. I hope to share tips on exercises and ways of eating that has worked for me. That doesn't mean do what I do, but be open to a different way of thinking about how you treat your body. Hi everyone!

@Manuel Greit that would be wonderful, thank you!
Well, hello there!
I know I haven’t posted too much really ever. I was trying to find the perfect thing to say in the perfect way at the perfect time. And then when it never came, I got to thinking “am I actually good at anything?” I want to talk about my Ehler Danlos diagnosis and how that oddly ties into my Hashimotos. I wanted to do that, because it took over thirty five years to find out what was wrong. I was deemed whiny, lazy or too much because I was always told nothing was wrong. But I’m not an expert. I just aim to maybe help somebody else that is a little bit earlier in their search for answers. Once I knew what was going on I was able to build a reality to support that. So, I don’t have a medical degree, but I found what works for me, and hope to share that and for anyone that feels so tired they can’t feel their face, or maybe feels like their hip is falling out of it’s socket some days but you have to do life anyway, I get it!

How to deal with Ehler Danlos when the world says you don’t understand what’s going on in your own body. Maneuvering an auto immune existence.
