My input: 1. 1. first of all abusers are the most caring, loving, and possessive persons. 2. 2. women who are not "whole" , looking for love and validation from a man and wanted to be accepted are the ones who gravitate to such men. 3. 3. The question is how do we reach these women before the connection. 4. 4. The churches are not talking consistently about domestic violence, not forgetting those Pastors who abuse their wives and are still on the pulpit. 5. 5. Marriage classes overlook this important issue during marriage counseling or pre martial classes/sessions 6. 6. Teen mothers and young mothers need lots of help where this is concern. 7. 7. Most mothers don't know how to prepare their daughters to identify the early warning signs of domestic violence during courting. 8. Finally: healing calls for community support, something that is missing in communities today.
