I lost my 🔥 flame on Skool for a few weeks.
December 27 was the day it happened. One unexpected event. A real curveball. The kind that dents life plans and knocks the wind out of you for a bit. And at 56? You don’t dramatize it—but you do feel it. The thing is… this wasn’t my first curveball. So I did what you do. I got back on my feet. Slowly. Quietly. Honestly. And here’s what surprised me most: Getting your flame back has nothing to do with posting more. Or announcing that you’re “back.” Or hyping your own visibility. It comes from showing up for others. • Commenting with real care • Replying without pitching • Offering your best advice because someone asked • Supporting, not performing • Being useful, not loud That’s community. Yes, the flame carries a bit of notoriety, “I’ve been here. You can lean on me. You can trust me.” But it’s also earned. Through consistency. Presence. Relationship. So if you’re asking yourself today: “How do I want to show up?” Try asking instead: Who can I help? Who can I support? Who can I build a real relationship with—or collaborate alongside? That’s what the flame actually symbolizes. Not status. Not content volume. But shared momentum. And I’m deeply grateful for the people in my Skool communities who kept showing up like that—for me and for each other. 🧡 💬 Be honest—have you lost your flame recently? Or are you finding your way back right now? Are you frustrated you haven't gotten it by now?

I feel you! I was in full on prep and survival mode this past week ahead of the big Snowmaggedon event. Evenings are usually when I catch up on Skool. Daytime is when I make thoughtful posts, evenings I check in to support, comment. And evenings I was so exhausted. I missed a night. Lost my flame. In a few months I'm heading to SCotland for my women's retreat. I imagine I'll lose it again then. But yes, just keep going. But you do feel the impact.

☎️ Hello 2026 - I’m No Longer Available for Chaos
This morning, the heaviness 🫣 of the end-of-year season finally surfaced. Holiday wrap-up Family obligations Business loose ends Moody teens 48-hours of insomnia & brain fog That low-grade chaos that quietly hums in the background this time of year. And Scott looked at me and said, “You don’t deal well with chaos. You kind of run away from it.” And my response was simple: "You're absolutely right!" At 56, I don’t want chaos in my life anymore. ❌ I don’t want to white-knuckle family obligations when my body is asking for rest. ❌ I don’t want to stress over my business because I need to hustle out one more offer just to hit a number. ❌ I don’t want to feel behind, guilty, or irresponsible for honoring my energy. This is the season of life where I want to feel at ease with my decisions. Fulfilled by my relationships. Spacious in my calendar. Free to travel, explore, and rejuvenate when I’m tired. I want to start client calls at 11am if I’ve been dealing with insomnia for five days —and feel zero guilt about it. Because at this stage of life? I don’t need a medal for persevering. I don’t need a trophy for another hack-a-thon. I don’t need flowers for surviving. I’ve already earned the right to choose what good looks like. And here’s the part I want to say clearly — especially to the women reading this: We do not need to acquiesce to chaos. We do not need to wear over-responsibility as a badge of honor. We do not need to earn rest by exhausting ourselves. And we certainly don’t need to build businesses that punish us for having a life. This is exactly why I built the Aligned AF Life & Business Mastermind. Not as another push. Not as another performance arena. But as a container for women who are done confusing chaos with commitment. Inside this mastermind, we build businesses that: ✨ Generate recurring, predictable revenue ✨ Don’t rely on adrenaline or constant launches ✨ Are grounded in lived experience — not proving ✨ Support real life, real bodies, real seasons

The Dream Build Foundation
This house is for sale. Oceanfront property. $99,000. Sounds like a steal… until you look closer. What was once the quintessential dream house. Now on the brink of collapse. Thing is this didn't happen overnight. The risk was always there. Oceanfront living has always been a gamble. The view is intoxicating. The status is seductive. And the long-term cost is easy to ignore when the payoff feels immediate. That’s how a lot of dreams work. As we sit on the edge of a new year, imagining our “I’ve arrived” goals for 2026, it’s easy to be drawn to the version that looks impressive, exciting, and validating. But before you chase the dream, pause and ask: What’s the foundation required to sustain it? If the price is your health, your relationships, your nervous system, or your sense of self — That’s not ambition. That’s erosion-in-waiting Build dreams that inspire you. But build the foundation first. Because that’s what determines whether the dream lasts. Staying put, sticking with what isn’t working, hoping things will magically stabilize isn’t strength. It’s often the moment energy stops moving. Refusing to notice that the ground has already shifted doesn’t protect the dream — it just delays the reckoning. Where in your life do you feel the energy asking to move, but you’ve been waiting for certainty instead? Posted because I'm sitting in a power pause today to ensure my foundation is being built on solid ground. ALigned AF🔥

Great question. In the past, my focus would have been on pushing external success indicators regardless of how forced, performative, or misaligned they felt. What I’m reinforcing now is different: risk resilience, boundaries, discernment, and energy, especially my capacity to move before certainty — and to pivot faster when things wobble. Expanding that threshhold of tolerance space. The real question for me right now isn’t how do I move faster, but how do I keep energy flowing during uncertainty? How do I stay with the unknown without forcing change from a state of panic? I know it sits at the intersection of nervous system resilience, community connection, and my support systems. When that foundation is solid, I expect less freeze.Faster flow. Aligned energy, baby!
