Hi Kendy new to the Skool group too but been an active member of PLR.me since 2024. If you need any tips on the best ways to utilize the tools just send a message in the group. The community is extremely generous with advice, and I found a lot of my strongest ideas when using the message boards back when the group used to live on Facebook.
Synergy Professionals Africa eBook Development Plan
I have a vision to attach a practical engineering academy to Synergy Professionals Africa that will serve as a career-driven training platform rather than a conventional training academy. Drawing on more than 10 years of hands-on experience in the telecommunications industry, the Academy is designed to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world industry practice. The Academy will also develop professional eBooks with the help of the best available software and AI-powered tools. These eBooks will be marketed and sold through digital marketing platforms, creating an additional source of knowledge sharing and sustainable revenue while reaching professionals and aspiring engineers across Africa and beyond.

That's an amazing vision, so many individuals struggle to merge the hands-on with theoretical learning especially in industries as technical as telecommunications. I think eBooks are a great tool for sharing learned experience in a way people can enjoy at their own pace from people who aren't just academics but actually have the real-world experience. What AI platforms are you finding to be the most helpful in scaling the Academy?
The most valuable asset I've ever built wasn't a business
Over the past 37 years, I've built, acquired, sold and lost businesses. I've launched products that exceeded every expectation. I've also launched products that barely moved the needle. I've spent months working on acquisitions that never happened. And I've had opportunities come out of nowhere that completely changed the direction of my business. Looking back, there's one lesson that stands above all the others. The most valuable asset I've ever built wasn't a company. It wasn't a website. It wasn't an email list. It wasn't even the revenue. It was **visibility.** Not the kind of visibility that comes from going viral. I'm talking about something much more valuable... Being remembered. When someone needed help growing their business... They remembered me. When someone was looking for a strategic partner... They remembered me. When someone had an opportunity they couldn't solve on their own... They remembered me. That didn't happen because I was the smartest person in the room. It happened because I kept showing up. Some emails were read by thousands. Others barely got noticed. Some social posts sparked incredible conversations. Others felt like they disappeared into the internet. But none of them were wasted. Every article... Every email... Every podcast... Every conversation... Added another brick to a foundation I was building without fully realizing it. The funny thing is, I didn't appreciate the value of that foundation until I had to lean on it. There were seasons when business was booming. There were seasons when I had to rebuild. In both cases, the relationships I'd built through consistently sharing ideas became one of my greatest assets. That's why I believe visibility isn't about chasing attention. It's about earning trust over time. Trust doesn't usually happen because of one brilliant piece of content. It happens because people see you again... and again... and again. Not because you're trying to become famous.

Trust is the most valuable commodity a person has, and it follows them into any business venture they begin. While I appreciate the idea that "visibility" is one of the key foundations of earning that trust, it is only as strong as the follow through of a business's service. Consistency can get you in the room, but stellar content by itself will only go so far. The emotions a customer feels when they consume your service or content will shape how often they actually come back. Providing real solutions to their problems or pain points rather than temporary band-aids is the difference between customers who return over and over, recommend you to a friend, or think of you first when another challenge arises.
